if you want to study dont come here, the syllabus taught here were not updated and has been carried forward since it had been established, though some of the teachers are good but after all they are not going to teach you beyond the syllabus.but if you want the degree only and not the knowledge then it is a great place for you.

I found it the best

Jamia Hamdard is a prestigious college. Faculty to student ratio is quite good. A highly qualified is approachable and ready to help you. But same could not be said for infrastructure. The infrastructure fails spectacularly in comparison to college's standing and reputation. The crowd is a mix of both good and bad.

The faculty is very good. IEEE and CSI branches of this college are really amazing . This college has the right environment, exposure and opportunities required for the overall development of a student. A trademark institute it is that really harbours the shaping of a student's career. It's a lovely place to be . The campus is very vast, beautiful and green. There are trees and parks all along. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. It's a really really nice college. The sports complex is very good. There is a scope of learning a lot. The hostels are very good. The good is very very very tasty and fresh. The teachers ard very indulgent and helpful. There are seminars , workshops and discussions organised almost every week.

Faculty is very good, crowd isn't. Infrastructure is good enough. As you know it's a Muslim university, so there thinking is orthodox especially when crowd is from u.p. (not everyone) I'm talking about only HIMSR, jamia Hamdard. Half of the students got admission there god know why, but they shouldn't have. They are Dumb(half of the majority) otherwise it's okay. Just enjoy your company. You'll be good then.

If there is anything that defines JAMIA HAMDARD is our research work and faculty, all the faculty members, and teaching staff has at least experience of a decade with them, they are just not excellent at teaching but also excellent at research work, few of the members have been listed among top 100 scientist worldwide. Infrastructure is average I would say, but only if you compare with other colleges , you' ll find it amazing. so my department is as huge as my friend's college :D It's even bigger than few of colleges in DU. College life is not that good, the college lacks in co and extra activities for sure and that what makes us weak, but the syllabus is to be blamed here, we really don't have time for extra things because the syllabus is huge . one thing what makes us different is that we have regular lectures, unlike colleges where kids go sit in a canteen, roam around. NO, you won't see students roaming around. Each subject is taught by at least 3 profs. studies are pretty good here.

Jamia Hamdard is a brand itself. The campus is amazing and beautiful. Buildings are well maintained. The Central library is incredible and it provides the good collection of books. The faculty is hard-working and helpful. Student crowd is amazing. Placements are not so good but overall Jamia is a good experience. Jamia Hamdard is the amazing university representing diversity and harmony.

College life is absolutely different and amazing, unlike the school life which was so very monotonous. Having got many liberties, there are few restrictions too. Studies haven't got any easier, rather tougher and burdensome. The faculty is really cooperative. Every teacher makes sure that the students benefit from each lecture, and get all the concepts clear. The campus is a lot greener and really pleasant. The canteen is hygienic enough. The placements are extremely good. Jamie Hamdard's Faculty of Pharmacy has got the third rank nationally in the NIRF ranking. All in all, college is really fun. Though the studies aren't that easy as we thought, it is never boring either, rather challenging.

I wish that I would not step outside of my comfort zone and actively sought out friends from diverse backgrounds. I did what felt natural and joined the college, similar comfort and feel like home made it easy to collect knowledge, gained friends, wisdom and what not from this place.

A great platform to study in a peacefully diversified campus

Posted on 30 Aug' 16 by Rajiv Sharma
Batch of 2011 | B.Tech Computer Science and Engineering
This university is very good and has greenery around it and the atmosphere is so relaxing. The air is less polluted. The campus is so big and a lot of courses are available. People from Iran, Iraq, Nigeria, Korea and from many other countries come to get an education over there. It is a deemed university. Infrastructure is very nice and equipped with all essential things. Library has an exhaustive collection of books and is a good place to do self-study. There are many computer labs. Lifts are there in almost every building. Faculties are highly qualified and very supportive. Placements are good but not very good as compared to other universities. It should be improved and more companies should come for recruitment. Campus placement should be 100%. Recreational activities keep on happening as per the requirements and schedules. Hostels are hygienic and are equipped with all facilities. Security is 24*7 over there to provide a protected place to live and study.

Jamia Hamdard Pyaara Pyaara

Jamia Hamdard is an interdisciplinary institution which is one of the best deemed schools in the capital with reasonable fee. The institution sets an example for communal harmony & secularism. I like eco.friendly green hamdard which is always cooler than the rest of the nearby areas. The management department offers you a decent academics with almost no placement. It is alwayd a cold war between academicians & placement cell which leads to no good to a student. The location of the university is also lovable with NDIM & Batra adjacent to it. The boundary of Jahanpanah forest is also attached to Hamdard. The residential localities in the vicinity of Hamdard are also very cheap.

Its good for enjoying college life. I want somewhat better placement and good infrastructure in my college.there is no curricular activities done in my college so it's necessary to empower these activities tooo.there is no industry visit in this college so I also want that this facility must be done by the college to improve the college performance and ranking and also placements.college facility is average sufficient to live in the hostel by NRI's and foreigners. its all about this college. I'm also new in this college so I don't know too much about this.there is also the pooor facility of the canteen for vegetarian students. so I must say this field has too also improved too much. THANK YOU RUPAM

Good college, sports complex available with almost all the facilities. I got excited and overwhelmed on seeing the ambience of the college. Infrastructure- The infrastructure of the college was quite good.Placements- Good on campus placement facilities. Almost each student of the computer engineering gets placed at reputation companies. 95% + on campus takes place every year. Cultural facilities- All round the year one or the other cultural and technical fest takes place to boost the hidden talent hidden from the students. This gives them the way to know more about their college and to interact with each other. Seniors and juniors work together to make each and every event successful and memorable. Hostel- (I am telling in reference to girls hostel) Hostels are quite good and have all the necessary facilities.

Good college, sports complex available with almost all the facilities. Nice placement and a lot of workshops run. The most important its admission fee is very less as compared to any other engineering college. 3gb free wifi given to students for 30 days. But there is a struggle for a hostel.

Good university in the field of computers

Posted on 22 Oct' 15 by Shreyak Parashar
Batch of 2015
Offering courses like B.Tech in IT/CS, BCA, M.Tech, MCA, a good university totally dedicated to the field of computers with good, helping and very hard working faculty. Well laid infrastructure with several numerous computer labs for different purposes. A highly sports encouraging university which hosts some of the best sports tournaments annually, providing well developed infrastructure for the same. Witnessing a good rise in percentage of students getting placed in some of the most renowned IT companies with every passing batch, which starts low for the initial batches for obvious reasons. Provides excellent hostel facility within the campus. Well planned locations for canteens and cafes with availability at a walk of hardly 4-5 minutes from any point in campus. Excellent health care facility within the campus itself with a big and highly renowned hospital of its own. Over all good and highly growth oriented university.

Do not confuse the name with Jamia Millia

Posted on 20 Oct' 15 by Sahil Riaz
Batch of 2008
Jamia Hamdard is often confused with Jamia Millia University but it is a stand alone university by the name of Jamia Hamdard. It offers a curriculum similar to the Indraprastha University. Some of the teachers like Ms. Farheen Siddiqui who teaches C++ and Automata theory as well as Samina Siddiqui who teaches Computer Graphics help in enhancing the students knowledge to a great extent. Like any other college there is still a lot of scope for improvement.
