On December 4, 2019, the Union Cabinet designated the All India Institute of Medical Sciences Bilaspur as an Institute of National Importance under Phase-V of the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojana (PMSSY). The institute offers undergraduate courses. The AIIMS Bilaspur courses include the MBBS programme. The candidate must appear for the NEET examination. The candidates must meet the AIIMS Bilaspur eligibility criteria and cutoff. The AIIMS Bilaspur admission will be based on the scores obtained in the NEET examination.
