Yes , the college had all the necessary infrastructure , facilities and equipments that are considered while you are studying Engineering. Facilities such as smart class in all of our classrooms , all the necessary equpiments in our practical labs and in proper working or good condition , fully functional WiFi in hostels and also WiFi access during classroom practicals. As for the living spaces they are regularly maintained and the food was food court and mess were hygenic.
I did my B.tech in the field of Electrical and Electronics Engineering. As for the quality of teaching the experience was good. For the curriculum part , yes it gets updated according to the needs for industries and also keeping in mind the recent developments in the field.
Quality of placements was good. The percentage of students who were placed taken on an average is about 80% with an average package of 4.5 LPA. College was supportive in terms of giving test series and sessions regarding company placements examination.
The college infrastructure is really good. And the hostels, mess and classrooms are always cleaned properly. WiFi systems don't work moat of the time. The food is not good in the mess. We don't get all equipments we want.
I'm in my final year of fashion textile designing. And according to me, for all the things a designing student want, KIIT doesn't provide the same. And its not job ready too. Excluding some faculties, others are not even student friendly.
The ratio is 1:5. The placement promises given by KIIT is not at all true. It depends on our own caliber. Some faculties give less CGPA to some students for their personal grudge. And they don't even help in getting into any internship or something else.
Equipments are not provide. No industrial tours. Even in this Covid, without teaching anything, they are taking 100% fees.
Campus life is good only for the students effort.
The main thing which took my eyes was their cleanliness and maintenance. They provide us good projectors, study table with proper lighting and a spacious area. Whole campus is been provided with Wi-fi services.
Currently i am pursuing b.com in kiit as I was interested in management related stuff so i choose this field. All the faculty members are very cooperative, they not only helps us in our studies but also helps us to gain knowledge outside the syllabus. Almost every faculty holds a ph.D as a degree. They try their best to make us understand things.
Placement rate is quite good its around 90% and around 92% of people are placed with good package of 6 LPA- 30 LPA. We have got good opportunities in placement. There is a great opportunity to get a good job through campus selection.
Yes,as the teaching quality here is excellent so its worth reading here. There are various scholarship opportunities that are prevailed by the government of India as well as by the college. We also have financial assistance for help.
Our collage provides fests like quiz fests, sports fests etc. We have a really good library containing various books of different genres and its open for all the batches. It also has e-books on multiple desktops.
In my views it's a very good college. Faculties are very helpful and cooperative and everything is well maintained . Scolarship is been provided to Class topper and batch topper. To enrol in this university, first you need to register yourself for KIITEE. If you get selected then they will notify you for further process.
Yes my University Kalinga Institute of Technology has all the facilities and equipments which are required by an average student. The classrooms have blackboards and smart projections. It has Wi-Fi connection which works very fast. These all facilities are well maintained and are in use. If we talk about hostel and its facilities so they are also very good and food are hygienic
I did my BTech from Kalinga Institute of Technology. I decided to do my graduation from here as due to its good will and facilities provided here and also the fertility. The teachers are very friendly and caring. They try to make a square about each and every topic which is taught in the class.
The quality of placements provided here are very good full stop around 95% of the students are being placed here. Average salaries varies from 7 to 8 lacs. Highest package gone at my time was 45 lacs to a civil student. The college is very supportive in the matter of placements. The process is quite easy and pleasant for everyone.
Yes my CLG has all facilities and equipments.wr have projectors AC in our classroom . The living places are nice and yes even the food is hygienic.wifi is pretty fast but is monitored all the time.....
Am studying EEE to become a ETO in merchant NAVY. The quality of teaching is very good . teachers are very friendly. Yes my curriculum is updated to the present scenario and and includes the recent development in field. Yes it make me job Ready.
The quality of placement is pretty good here the AVG package goes up to 6-7 Lacs and the the highest package offered till date is 48lacs offered to a CIVIL student. Around 95% students get placed more than 1400 companys visit KIIT every year.placement process is obviously not that easy it's a headache for every one but yes the college is helpful.
My Course cost me 3.5lacs per year-14 Lacs for 4 years. I think it will be worth it.lets see
The best part apart from studies is the college campus life and hostel life. Students can engage themselves in various activities like swimming tennis badminton we have different courts for each and every game . The canteen is pretty cool however the mess food ?? isn't that good . The wardens can be a headache sometimes .the college is in the heart of the city . And definitely it can handle emergencys it has it's own hospital
Yes our college have all the necessary infrastructure. All our classroom are supported with wifi, Air conditioner, smart classes etc... And the library can accommodate over 300 students. Yes the whole campus is clean and well maintained and the quality of food is very good.
I'm studying Automobile Engineering and quality of teaching is very good. Yes the curriculum is updated and includes all development. Yes it makes us job ready because the way they prepare students is vey good.
Very good results in placements. Almost 80-90 percent students were placed last year, very good companies. They average salary were around 4-5 lakhs in the year 2019-2020. The highest package was around 13 lakhs.
KIIT has one of the best infrastructures in India, and it is a college of eminence. Hostels are provided with free Wi-Fi connections for students. We have well-equipped labs and smart classrooms with both projector and LED TV for a good interactive class atmosphere with required restrictions.
I'm graduating in B.TECH ( Information Technology) . Because IT involves the study and application of computers and any type of telecommunication that store retrive study transmit manipulate data and end information. The curriculum of KIIT is updated and includes all the recent developments in the field.
Placement percentage of students were almost 100%. Highest package obviously goes to CSE.The present scenario of placements in KIIT is quite good but less in number than previous year. It is not like that companies are not visiting the campus. They are visiting but taking students in less number than previous year.(Not for all companies, generally mass recruiters).
My course costs 4 lacs approx per year. Yes I'm getting my money's worth.
College infrastructure is good and it have all the facilities available in the campus. All equipments are also available. College have all the necessary labs, India's best library, and sports centre and college is fully covered with wi-fi. And we'll maintained. Food quality also good and living place is also good.
I am studying b.tech in information technology because it is my interest. And in KIIT the placement in cs/IT is also good teacher quality is average. And I think curriculum needs to be improved according to today's need but they make job ready person so it's okay.
Placement quality is great, almost everyone gets package and 100% student of cs/IT gets placed. Average salary is around 5-6lc and process is definitely pleasant for everyone . College is definitely supportive but you have to study.
350000 per year. Money worth it placements wise. Not knowledge gaining wise.
Campus life is great .you will enjoy the life and vibes are also great. There are societies to engage in different fields of areas and yaah teacher is supportive and it's location is safe and for emergency there is KIMS hospital ?.
You will enjoy the life and placement but don't expect knowledge gaining thing if you want you have to study.
KIIT has one of the best infrastructures in India, and its a college of eminence. Hostels are provided with free 24/7 Wifi and smart LED TV in the mess. The whole college is divided into campuses and each campus has it's own cafeteria, Sports complex, open air theatre, high tech labs and many more facilities. It's a well planned infrastructure with a lot of greenery to watch. Security here is top notch so you need not worry about anything. The hostels are huge and clean.
I have studied Computer Science and Systems Engineering. Quality of teacher are very good. Every faculty does not believe in just coming and reading out the slides, they believe in taking interests in children and guide them accordingly in life. The curriculum is well organized and always keeps up with the new technological trend that's going on. The syllabus has everything to land you a job rest all depends on you and how you prepare for it.
Quality of placements is by far the best. Placement team in KIIT is the best in India. They take care of each in every student and assures us that we are in a great hands. Every year KIIT manages to bring around 200 companies for campus placements. Every year the record of students getting placed is close to 100% and in some years it's also 100%. Average CTC offered was 5LAC. And highest that goes is around 21 Lakhs.
Studying in KIIT isnot easy if you dont have money. KIIT is costly. Per Year it took me 4.5 Lakhs. But spending this amount of money is totally worth it because of it good placement record. During pandemic when rest of the world were loosing jobs or getting fired, KIIT was one such institute who brought around 200 companies to it's campus and with full pace placements were going on. Many other top colleges of India were not able to provide jobs to their students meanwhile KIIT was doing wonders.
Campus life has been the best life. The best features are that it has everything. It has multiple sports Complexes, cafeterias, open air theatres etc etc. Students can take part in fests, enroll themselves in different societies, and enjoy the campus life at it's best. Location of KIIT is very good. Outside KIIT you will find every other good and famous franchise restros, stationary shops. KIIT has it's own medical college called KIIMS. They have their own hospital. Also policestation is nearby.
The facilities are marvelous, clean and also well maintained. Everything that is needed is already there. Also, if any of the infrastructure is needed, the colleges manages to get them for the students.Food is clean and hygienic.
I'm currently studying Mechatronics Engineering. The faculty members are average. Not so extraordinary neither so bad. The curriculum is updated and really well maintained. KIIT teaches in a very practical way that makes every student job ready.
KIIT did a record in placements in the year 2020. A college that manages to get a record in placement even in a pandemic situation is a college every student will look upto. I don't really know about the percentage of placement or the highest salary but it is pretty good.
1.75lac per semester is the course fee(excluding hostel fees and other fees) To be honest. The fees could be a little less. But as of the placement and the environment of the college is concerned. It is a price worth to pay.
Campus life is amazing.
Hello Aditya,
With a NEET UG 2025 score of approximately 280, getting a BDS seat in Kalinga Institute of Dental Sciences (KIDS), KIIT University, Odisha will be a challenge. The NEET cut-off ranks for BDS in KIDS from previous years suggest that it will be very difficult. In fact, the closing rank for BDS at KIDS was 1,198,235 for general category in Round 3, NEET 2023 and 1,011,636, NEET 2022 (Both NEET scores were significantly above 280).
That said, cut-off scores based on ranks are not stable year to year based on the number of applications, seat availability or other performance observed in a particular year. However, you should still take part in the NEET counselling process and look at other private dental colleges, where the cut-off marks may be lower. Check here for more information: Kalinga Institute of Dental Sciences, Bhubaneswar Cutoff 2025
HEY THERE!!
Which to Choose?
UPES is preferable if you desire better placement percentages, updated curriculum with specialisations, and greater international exposure. The highest and average packages are also slightly improved, and the university provides good industry relations and global options.
KIIT is also an excellent private university with a good reputation, good placements, and great campus life. If you like its campus culture or location, it's still a strong option.
In general, UPES has a marginal advantage in placements and industry interaction for Computer Science.
Select according to your preferences: location, charges, campus, and specializations.
Hello Pranav,
Choosing between IIPM Bangalore or KSRM, KIIT (ABM) will depend on your aspirations, budget, and needs with respect to the academics and placements.
If you want a recognized MBA in Agribusiness Management with UGC-approved degrees and you are looking for a short career path in the sectors of Agriculture, development and rural management, and you want structured academics and decent resources and growing relationships with the industry, then KSRM, KIIT (ABM) is surely the better choice. IIPM Bangalore has been known, in the past, for its aggressive marketing and popularity, but there are negative sentiments in the professional arena regarding the lack of academic credibility over the past. Furthermore, they do not offer UGC-recognized degrees, which perhaps would hinder your career or postgraduate education and career goals in government jobs.
Verdict:
If you are looking for a legitimate, recognized, and secure degree with a future in sector-specific options for careers, choose KSRM, KIIT (ABM).
