NIT Rourkela has a placement committee that helps students get good opportunities in well-reputed companies from various sectors. NIT Rourkela placement cell also offers internships along with placements to students for their practical learning. Many candidates also get direct PPO from their internships. The college also analyses the interests and skills of the students and helps them to decide on their job careers.

For NIT Rourkela placement, various companies are invited to the placement drive. NIT Rourkela also helps in conducting placement processes like conducting pre-placement talks, written tests and group discussions. NIT Rourkela Placement Process

The training and placement cell invites the organisations for the NIT Rourkela placement drive in the company where they share relevant information regarding the institute. Further, the organisation has to fill out a job notification form.

For the 2021 batch , average package 9.36L and highest package was 45 L which was bagged by 3 students. It was given by Microsoft. Many offers for internships has been made by companies like microsoft, Bajaj auto, Citibank. 211 students selected for it. In my branch there is 100% placement.

The placement is too good In the college, that why I selected this college the average salary of the electrical engineering is 9.5 lakhs the college average package is 8.4. Lakhs andthe b.trch has nearly 9-10 lakhs so the college is good at placement so this college gives us opportunity we can attend the it company if we know well in programs any branch person can get the Highest package and the highest domestic package of the college is 43.5 lakhs

Whether to choose DAIICT , IT or nit Rourkela mechanical

Hello,

Obviously, NIT Rourkela. Great Placement and Good Faculty with large alumni base.

Students can learn coding alongside mechanical engineering with ease in mechanical engineering because of better peer groups and the college's culture, which is only observed in the best IITs and NITs. Because of this, students studying civil engineering at prestigious NITs or old IITs frequently become excellent coders and obtain fantastic jobs. You should always keep in mind that the CEO of Google is a graduate of an old IIT's metallurgical department. Therefore, don't assume that studying mechanical/metallurgical engineering will just qualify you as a mechanical/core engineer. All students who are proficient in coding and data algorithms are welcome to apply to most software-related placement companies.
