The infrastructure at this college is spectacular the university boost and expensive central library with unlimited access to top international journals like permit landset alongside advance help science laboratories
At this world class multi disciplinary University my course is treated as an advanced scientific research discipline root learning is non existent instead the academic framework is built entirely around evidence based practiced
The educational cost are premium at this college but the long term career at comes offer incredible value the university maintenance and allied global relationship that preface students for international carrier tracks
From a financial point of view this college offers huge value for money . The tuition fees of this college is highly subsidized by the state making it affordable for all the middle class and low income families
The campus life of this college is a high energy mix of concert tech fashion show and various students meet It is incredible diverse environmental were all student interact with each other in the canteen area
It has one of the best infrastructure in India. The campus is massive and clean. It has s academic buildings , food-courts, libraries , sports complex, auditorium , swimming pool , gym auditoriums, recreational areas. The laboratories are well maintained and contain adequate equipment for students. Wi-fi availability is 24/7.Hostel facilities are also decent and you also get medical support.
Kiit university offers a wide range of courses in engineering , law , management, biotechnology and medical sciences. The syllabus is updated regularly as per industry standards which help students very much. The teaching standard is very good. The faculty members are supportive although the experience my vary. The university focuses heavily on practicals like seminar , lab sessions , projects , presentation , coding contests , workshops etc. The classrooms are smart and Wifi enabled. Academics feel highly competitive because of large students intake every year.
Kiit performs quite well as compared to many other universities regarding placements. The university has centralized placement cell that take care of everything. The average package is quite descent and the university is tied up with some Companies.
The campus is HUGE. Infrastructure can be really good unless you are in one of the new areas, like Campus 25, where you will find mould on ceilings and water leakage during rainy days. Some of the hostels around that area have the same issues. Classrooms have proper ventilation, AC and Smart Boards. Wi-Fi availability is hit-or-miss; some areas of the campus/hostels have really poor connections. Sport Centres are available nearby, but they aren't good enough for me (eg, some of the gyms have no/broken machines year-round, some of them don't have dumbbells beyond 15kgs, swimming pools are not properly cleaned, you'll find residue on their walls, overcrowding due to small size etc). The library is great, you'll find ample space and pretty nice interior design, but for some reason, if you live in campus 25, you can only go to the campus 25 library at night and not the central library. I only had labs during the first year, and they were decently maintained at that time. There are cafeterias throughout the campus; you'll find decent food. Overall, the infrastructure is great with a few caveats.
Coming from CSE background, I wouldn't say that the syllabus is up-to-date, but it covers the basics well. Quality of teaching depends on the teacher; some just read off slides while others actively test and ask questions for engagement. Elective subjects are a bit more up-to-date but not yet there fully; still, they are your best options to actually study something with recent developments. You'll have various choices for electives, but those are on an FCFS basis, so you may not always get your desired elective. Books/E-Books that are provided are really good, but you have to self-study for hours beyond the classroom hours if you want a good grasp on subjects like AI/ML, Cyber Security, and Cloud.
Many companies come, but only a few companies actually hire. Most of the students here do not develop their skills and work on projects on the side, which is why they end up with mass recruiters or roles they didn't desire. An above 8 CGPA is the minimum for a lot of companies, while some can ask for 9+, and even then, your chances of shortlisting depend more on luck/resume quality/rank by CGPA among others (there are 300+ CSE students above 9 CGPA in my batch itself). My advice: your focus for placements should be on consistent upskilling and networking, do not depend on on-campus placement opportunities alone.
Fees are much higher compared to other private universities; however, if you maintain a good academic status, upskill yourself continuously and attend events around the college you are interested in, it's all worth it. Always know what facilities are available to you through the handbook given to you and use what you need.
If you want a wonderful campus life, then I cannot think of any better university in India. The number of student societies, events (both technical and non-technical), sports tournaments, fests, cultural programs, and the ambience of the campus itself is in a class of its own. You'll find students from all over India, even from abroad, studying here. Everything you may want, you can find on the campus; it is also built in a great city where you'll find all sorts of entertainment and adventures. Honestly, this is something you'll genuinely enjoy and remember for the rest of your life.
I had a good experience at kiit campus is modern, clean, and well maintained Classrooms are spacious and have smart boards and good seating arrangements Lab are also properly equipped, which helps a lot during practical classes and projects The whole campus has Wi-Fi connectivity, so it becomes easy to study, attend online sessions, and work on coding or assignments. The library is large and has enough books and digital resources for academics. Hostel facilities are decent, and students get all the basic things needed for comfortable living. Sports grounds, gyms, cafeterias, medical facilities, and transport services are available inside the campus, which makes student life convenient. The campus environment is lively and student-friendly, with regular events, workshops, and activities that make college life more enjoyable and interactive.
Academics are good overall, and the curriculum is balanced with both theoretical and practical learning. Classes happen regularly, and most teachers are supportive during studies. Some faculty members explain topics in a very simple way, which helps students understand concepts better, especially before exams and practicals. They also guide students in projects, assignments, and presentations whenever needed. Labs and practical sessions are quite useful for technical branches because students get hands-on experience along with classroom learning. Workshops, seminars, and skill development programs are also organized from time to time, which help students learn about industry trends and improve their skills. Agar koi student regular classes attend kare, assignments complete kare, aur thoda self-study bhi kare, then academics become manageable and helpful for placements and future career growth.
Placement opportunities are pretty decent, especially for students from technical branches. Many companies come for campus recruitment, mainly for software, IT, and service-based roles. Agar kisi student ki coding skills, communication, aur academics achhe hain, then chances of getting a good placement become much higher. The placement support is also helpful because regular aptitude classes, mock interviews, coding practice sessions, and workshops are conducted before placement season. Internship opportunities bhi mil jati hain through campus drives and company connections. Overall, if a student stays consistent with skill development and preparation, then good placement opportunities can definitely be achieved.
KIIT University has one of the best infrastructures among private colleges in India. The classrooms are spacious, air-conditioned, and equipped with smart boards and projectors. Laboratories for IT and engineering students are well-maintained with proper systems and internet connectivity. The central library is large and provides access to both physical and digital resources. Hostels are decent with WiFi, security, and regular maintenance. Sports facilities, gyms, auditoriums, and cafeterias are available across the campus. However, during peak hours, some facilities become overcrowded, and hostel food quality can vary occasionally. Overall, the campus infrastructure supports both academics and extracurricular activities effectively.
The B.Tech IT curriculum is industry-aligned, covering AI and cloud. Faculty quality varies, but labs, hackathons, and strict attendance policies foster a great environment to become industry-ready. absolute
KIIT provides organized IT/CSE placements with top recruiters like Amazon, Maruti Suzuki, Deloitte, Tcs etc. Despite high competition, helpful training ensures students with strong coding skills land good packages.
KIIT's high fees are offset by excellent facilities, campus exposure, and placement opportunities. Though success requires personal effort, it's a solid choice for private engineering education. Can be a bold choice
Campus life at KIIT is vibrant and enjoyable. Students from different states and cultures study here, which creates a diverse environment. The campus hosts multiple festivals, technical events, hackathons, cultural programs, sports tournaments.

I am pursuing CSE, and the academic curriculum covers important technical subjects like programming, DBMS and operating systems. Most teachers are supportive and help students understand concepts clearly. Regular assignments, lab classes and exams keep students engaged in studies. The syllabus is updated to include industry-relevant topics, but students should also focus on self-learning and coding practice. Technical events and workshops help students improve practical knowledge and prepare for internships and placements in the software industry.
Placements for CSE students are good compared to many private colleges. Many companies visit the campus for technical and software-related roles. Students with good CGPA, coding skills and communication skills get decent placement opportunities. The placement cell also conducts aptitude training, mock interviews and career guidance sessions. Average salary packages are decent, and some students receive higher offers. Competition during placements is high, so students need consistent preparation and project experience to secure better job opportunities.
The college fees are comparatively high, but students get good infrastructure, placement opportunities and campus exposure. Various workshops, technical events and extracurricular activities help in overall personality development. Hostel and campus facilities are also satisfactory for students. If students actively participate in coding, internships and skill development activities, the college can provide good career opportunities. Overall, the college offers reasonable value for money for students who are serious about academics and professional growth.
Campus life is enjoyable and interactive because students from different states study here. The college organizes cultural fests, technical events, sports competitions and club activities regularly. Hostel life helps students become independent and build friendships. The campus environment is active and provides many opportunities to participate in extracurricular activities. Security inside the campus is also good, and most daily facilities are available within the campus itself. Overall, campus life is fun, engaging and helpful for personal growth.
The university provides many opportunities through hackathons, workshops and placement training sessions. Students should focus on coding skills, communication and projects from the first year itself to make the best use of available opportunities. Overall, the college provides a good environment for learning, networking and career development.

Hi,
With 84.4 percentile in JEE Main and 84.2% in boards, your son has decent private college options. Out of the colleges you listed, some are clearly stronger than others in placements, coding culture, peer group, and long-term value.
My overall recommendation order would roughly be:
Manipal Institute of Technology
Hi Rajshekar,
For an MCA focused on placements in the Delhi-NCR region,
Jaypee Institute of Information Technology (JIIT), Noida
is generally considered the top choice among private universities due to its strong track record with tech giants.
If you are looking for other solid options in Noida, Gurugram, and Greater
Yes, you can appear for KIITEE exam twice in a year, as the university conducts the exam in three phases every year.
