Osmania University Registrations 2025

• Candidates should visit the official site for the Osmania University application form 2025.

• Then, the candidates should fill in all the necessary details in the OU application form.

• OU admissions to B.P.Ed are made by the TS PECET and B.Ed is offered based on merit in TS EDCET. 

• Osmania University admissions to PG programmes are based on the performance of candidates in the entrance test CPGET conducted by the university.

• Thereafter the candidates must upload the required documents such as mark sheet, TS EDCET and TS PECET scorecards, certificated and several other documents.

The Osmania University application fee for the undergraduate and postgraduate courses is Rs 500. Furthermore, the application fee for the Common Post Graduate Entrance Test (CPGET) is Rs 800 for General/OBC candidates and Rs 600 for SC/ST/PH candidates. Note: Candidates who have passed the qualifying exam with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for reserved category) can apply for the PGECET 2024 exam. Moreover, candidates who have valid scores in GATE can also apply for admission. Candidates can follow the TS PGECET syllabus and exam pattern to prepare for the exam.

Osmania University Ph.D Admission Process 2025

• Candidates willing to be admitted in Ph.D at Osmania University must fulfil the course requirements prescribed according to the OU entrance exams.

• Eligible candidates need to appear for Ph.D Eligibility Test in the subject they wish to pursue Ph.D.

• Candidates awarded a research fellowship, either through a national-level test conducted by national-level organisations such as ICAR / ICMR/ DBT or by a national-level organisation (such as DST-INSPIRE fellowship) or Teacher Fellowship applicants subject to clearance by the Dean, CDC, OU OR  qualified in the UGC-NET/CSIR UGC NET/SET-TS/AP/SLET/JEST/GATE /GPAT examination are exempted from the Ph.D eligibility Test.

• Candidates will be shortlisted based on their performance in the Eligibility Test and will be notified for an interview. Also, they need to submit a research proposal.

• The final selection will be made based on the Ph.D. Eligibility Test, interview, verification of documents and payment of the fees.
