Candidates who have earned at least 75 percent marks in 10+2 assessments or have held a ranking in the top 20 percentile are eligible to apply for the IIT Hyderabad admission into B.Tech programme. A marked relaxation of 10 percent in the eligibility requirements will be granted to SC/ST category candidates seeking IIT Hyderabad admission. To gain admission to B.Tech and B.Tech+ M.Tech courses, candidates will have to apply for JEE Main, followed by JEE Advanced. Admission to the B.Tech. program is through IIT-JEE. This is followed by Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) Counselling.
Candidates have to apply and appear in JEE Main and qualify it and then appear for JEE Advanced and obtain a valid rank.
Further candidates have to register with JoSAA for participating in the counselling process.
