The placements of the students are handled by the university's Office of Career Services (OCS). It invites companies and conducts Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad placements. The students of the university receive lucrative offers from top international recruiters from countries like Taiwan and Japan. Apart from this, many students also opt for higher education in foreign institutions like the University of Tokyo, Purdue University, USA, University of California, etc. The Office of Career Services (OCS) provides an adequate number of internship and placement opportunities to the students. The institute has released the phase-1 placement statistics for the academic year 2021-2022. More than 650 students registered for the placements as reflected by the IIT Hyderabad placement data for the academic year 2021-2022 (as of December 8, 2021, Phase 1). Around 210 companies participated and provided jobs to the students. 100% placements were achieved by the students of M.Tech in Smart Mobility. The average salary offered at IIT Hyderabad placements 2021-2022 is Rs. 23 lakhs per annum. The top recruiters include Flipkart, Indeed, Infurnia, JP Morgan, Meesho, Microsoft NTT AT, Newzera, Silicon Labs, Suzuki Motor Corp, TSMC & Zomato. The phase-2 placement process will begin by January 2022.
