Panjab University (PU) is a collegiate university that was established in 1882 and is funded jointly by the central and state governments located in Chandigarh, India. The Panjab University has 15 chairs/centres for research and teaching and 74 research and teaching departments at the key campus in Chandigarh. It has affiliations with 202 colleges along with 3 regional centres and 6 constituent colleges.
Punjab University Chandigarh offers both online and offline admission based on merit and scores in entrance examinations. Admission to the UG courses is done through PUCET entrance exam. The infrastructure of the University is really excellent. It has variety of spaces around it which you can explore. The classrooms are well equipped with wooden semicircular benches. There is a fabulous centeral and departmental library. There is a language lab which has smart whiteboard and there are so many facilities available in the departments for the benefit of students.
Infrastructure is decent. Free Wifi facility in the campus. 24×7 library. No timing restrictions in the hostels. Lawns, gardens, shooting range,alumni house, guest house, swimming pool, badminton, basketball and tennis courts facilities also available. All facilities are well maintained and hygienic plus the campus is really beautiful.
Very good infrastructure. There is Greenery all around. Classes are also nice but the campus is more beautiful and blissful. University has all the facilities and it's a good experience to be there and study.
