To be able to appear in UPSEE, you need to fulfil either of the following conditions :
You should have passed the qualifying examination from an institution located in UP or your parent (s) is a domicile of UP.
In case, who have passed the qualifying examination from outside UP, you will have to produce domicile certificate of your parents (father or mother only) at the time of document verification.
In case, your parent (s) is not a domicile of UP and you have passed the qualifying exam from an institution outside UP, you can also take the exam. However, you will then be considered for admission to only 10% of the sanctioned seats available in private institutions affiliated to AKTU. Also, you will not be offered any reservation benefits under this option. Your UPSEE 2018 merit will be taken into consideration for admission purpose.

Yes, you can apply for UPSEE exam to take admission in private engineering colleges of UP.
In order to be eligible you should have physics and mathematics as your compulsory subjects and you should have 45% aggregate marks in Physics/Mathematics and one optional subject.
For SC/ST you should have 40% marks.
