How to join in this college for admission
Hello Nitish,
If you wish to get admissions in Delhi University, you would need to register to Delhi University through an online form and pay Rs. 150 as a registration charge. Last date of registration is on June 14th, 2019.
You may select as many as course you wish to so when the cut offs are released you can secure your seat in any of the Delhi University's college with any course and as the cut offs go down you can withdraw your earlier admission and take admission to your desired college and course.
Stephen's have a different application form that you would be able to find from the website and also have an interview round before the final declaration of whether or not you are admitted.
Other than that, all colleges, including Stephen's also follow the same Best of Four System, where you have to calculate your Best of Four Percentage in order to see whether or not it matches the cut offs. All you need to do is choose any best 3 subjects where you have scored high and English is a compulsory so it automatically becomes the fourth subject.
Then you add the total marks scored, divide it by maximum marks and multiply it by 100 and you get your Best of Four Percentage.
Things you need to keep in mind:
2.5% deduction from Best of Four if your subjects are not from List A Category (Theory for at least 78 marks and Practical for at most 30 marks).
2.5% deduction for stream change
2.5% if you have Physical Education, Commercial Artsh, Fine Arts and Music as a subject, unless you are doing your Bachelors in the same course or getting your admission through ECA quota.
You may also provide a Central Caste Certificate/ Non Creamy OBC Certificate/ EWS Certificate/ Army Ward/ Kashmere Migrant.
For Colleges for BFA courses or colleges like Cluster Innovation Centre or College of Journalism you would need to appear for the entrance as they do not follow the merit system.
I hope this was helpful!
