Gregorian Institute of Technology B. Tech program requires a follow-up to the KEAM entrance examination. The process of making an application to the GIT is spelled out below in a stepwise manner an application for admission into the GIT.
Application Process
1. KEAM Registration: Candidates have to first register for the KEAM examination from the official KEAM website. Registration normally involves filling an online application form and paying the exam fee.
2. KEAM Examination: Appear for the KEAM examination on the scheduled dates. The examination will take about Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
3. Results and Rank List: Wait for the results and rank list of the KEAM examination to be published.
4. Counselling Process: The shortlisted candidates will be called for the KEAM counselling process. During the counselling process, candidates will give GIT as their choice of college with preferred courses according to their rank and availability of seats.
5. Document Verification: If a seat is allotted to the candidate in GIT, he/she must report to the institution for verification of documents. The documents that are commonly required include:

Mark sheet and certificate of Class 10 and 12
Transfer certificate
Migration certificate (if applicable)
Caste/category certificate (if applicable)

6. Fee Payment: Based on successful verification, candidates will pay the respective admission fee to confirm the seat.
7. Confirmation of Admission: This refers to the admission confirmation into GIT which is done by paying the required fee and completing other necessary formalities.

Degree-wise Admission Process
B-Tech Programs:
GIT has a number of B.Tech programs, including Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence & Data Science, as well as Robotic and Automation. Generally, admissions into these programs depend mainly on KEAM score while 60 seats are also available in the university for each of Electronics and Communication Engineering, AI and Machine Learning, and AI and Data Science. The total capacity for B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering remains at 120.
