College of Engineering, Trivandrum was established in the year 1939 during the reign of the Travancore King, Sri Chithira Thirunal Balarama Varma. The institute is also known as CET Trivandrum. CET Trivandrum is a constituent College of Travancore University. The college is administered under the control of the Government of Kerala. CET Trivandrum is affiliated to A.P.J. You belong to SEBC category which was included in cap rounds counseling last year. So many people were not having the certificate hence the cut off for SEBC for relatively low in top colleges
The admission also depends on home university, other than Home University, people who actually apply.
