The infrastructure of the campus was too good. The classrooms are well arranged with LED projector, smart board etc. and all labs are well equipped with adequate systems. There is great library inside the campus containing thousands of books. Its a Wi-Fi available campus. The hostel and mess is also good and they are well maintained. Therefore it seems to be clean and hygienic always.
I was studying in CS Engineering. The quality of teaching was so satisfactory because all the faculties are highly qualified and experienced in the field of CS. The course curriculum is well planned and structured. So that it give us in depth knowledge of chosen filed and make us industry ready..
The college authorities are too much supportive for placements. Lots of reputed companies like Wipro, TCS, Infosys are visit the college for the recruitment for every year. The minimum salary they were offering is 6 LPA and Maximum to 56 LPA. Almost all the students got placed through campus selection.
The money which spent to complete the course is really worth for my professional life. I have paid only 150000/- for one year including hostel & Mess. I feel Amrita is affordable compared to other universities.
The campus life was so memorable. All the faculties and other non-teaching staffs are lovely people. I got lots of strong bonds from there. It was a very safe place to live.
Amazing infrastructure, well-equipped classrooms, labs, libraries, sports facilities, well maintained living spaces and hygienic food. On-campus hostel facilities for both boys and girls are available.
Highly qualified faculties and updated curriculum to meet the specific requirements of each academic program. Faculty members are very helpful and giving proper guidance for research and all. The University follows a semester system with regular exams at the end of each semester.
Our campus providing good placement opportunities. 95% students placed in every year. Over 300 companies visit the campus every year. Students can connect with the placement cell for the most up-to-date information on job opportunities.
I love my campus
Amrita provides excellent infrastructure facility to its students It has spacious classroom, with modern teaching techniques. well equipped labs , library which serves as excellent sources of reference. Amrita has well connected wifi facility
I had done my CSE from this college. Teaching quality is excellent with most of the faculties having doctoral degree in their resp. field. Curriculum is industry friendly. this syllabus actually prepares them for the placement opportunities
Amrita provides excellent placement opportunities to its students . It has a placement record of around 95 percentage. average salary offered is nine lakhs and highest package is 57lakhs. Companies like Microsoft Infosys , Tcs , Amazon etc visits the campus for placement. Itsupports the students in a great way for placement.
Regular fee for one year is 6,00,000. Amrita also provides scholarship to the eligible students based on the entrance ranking. College is really good in terms of academics
Campus life is really beautiful in Amrita. It helps the students in their overall development. College provides good playgroundand also has many culutral clubs
Overall campus is worth in every aspect, be it academic, cultural clubs or sports
The available space is generally satisfactory, although there might be a need to provide some education to the incoming students regarding the importance of maintaining cleanliness and orderliness within the area.
Education is generally satisfactory; educators strive to introduce innovative teaching methods. However, occasionally, the system can feel rigid, reminiscent of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) approach, which some find less adaptable to evolving learning needs.
The placement opportunities at this institution are excellent, and it has a strong reputation for ensuring that all students secure placements that align with their skills and qualifications. It's known for providing valuable career prospects to its students, making it a sought-after choice for those seeking promising career paths.
I was paying 4LPA or above because I was an NRI with a management quota, so it wasn't the best deal in terms of fees. Generally, the institution is reputed, though I've heard mixed opinions. Sometimes maybe good, sometimes maybe bad.
The campus life was truly wonderful. Not only did we have access to top-notch education, but the surroundings were equally enriching. With a beautiful beach and serene backwaters nearby, there were ample opportunities for relaxation and recreation. The pleasant weather throughout the year made it ideal for outdoor activities like cycling and leisurely walks. It was a perfect balance between academics and enjoying the natural beauty of the campus.
Participating in that experience is a cherished memory that has profoundly shaped me. It's something I hold dear and wouldn't exchange for anything else. Through it, I emerged as a transformed individual, armed with valuable lessons and a new perspective on life.
Speaking in terms of laboratories, amrita has extraordinary labs for design, CFD, Aerodynamics, and material science fields. All the classrooms were equipped with projectors and other modern facilities for teaching. It is known for tech fests like Vidyut and many other cultural fests. It promotes extracurricular activities. In terms of sports, amrita has a big playground for football, cricket, and basketball court too. The food is probably the worst that i have ever tasted till now.
The curriculum of mechanical engineering is being updated every year and it is promoting multi-disciplinary studies like including other courses like control systems, Industrial robotics, Automation. The faculty is student-friendly and very knowledgeable
For mechanical engineering, placements are very bad, year by year the number of candidates who got placed decreased drastically. But for the ones who are aspiring for an IT job, this is probably a good place.
If you want to pursue your higher studies, I will recommend you to join here. But if you want a good core placement you should plan something else. For the students who performed well in the AEEE test, they will get a scholarship of 1 Lakh.
As I told, Amrita has good laboratories, and libraries, and the teachers are knowledgeable and friendly, especially our Dean Dr.Balakrishnan Shankar. the environment here at amrita is also good and we beach near campus to relax and spend some time with ourself.
just do things what you like
all necessary infrastructure, facilities were good, college environment is also good one bad thing is food the people who are from telugu states or who eat more spicy were need to worried. class rooms were good every desk will get a plug point so that we can charge our laptops.
i am studying electrical and computer student, the quality of teaching is good except some faculty it is obvious in every college so we need to move on. some teachers are well experienced in their field they done phd. so it is helps us to get quality of subject.
there is a department is called cir for placements they take care of placements so students need not to worry about the placements. avg is salary is 7lpa and highest salary is 15 lpa in electrical department.
yes definitely it is value for money but food is not worth it and hostel too and remain all were too good the Wi-Fi facilities were also good so that we can learn online courses with out freaking out with internet.
the best thing about college is infrastructure , green environment, beach for relaxing stress, they also teach values not only academics. the worst thing is nothing to much too hot over there in college and food is bad
just trust them it is worth it and you name it you will all get things over there , fests, hackathons all there for students to explore
The college has lot of resources and labs which are well equipped. There are indore as well as outdoor games that you can play in the college. Library has a whole lot of resources. The hostel rooms are good and they are maintained neat on daily basis. They grow vegetables and use them for cooking.
The quality of teaching is really good. The syllabus and Curriculum they follow are really good. What ever is being taught will be useful for your later purpose in life. There will be seperate courses for personality development also included in the curriculum.
Most of the students will be placed and get decent packages. Mostly students studying here either do research with college projects or pursue their masters. The college works on government projects as well.
It's worth it
The college will have so many events. There clubs in which one club does social services and other are technical like robotics, cyber security, web development all the students can take part in them. The location of the college is really beautiful it has a river passing and small beach on side. For emergencies there is a hospital at the college.
Good place to student and complete btech.
Amrita is well known for it's infrastructure facilities and educating students ww have good library facilities and we have different ground for different sports coming to clean and hygienic part amrita will be 1st....
Iam studying b tech 1st and in Amrita the way teachers intract with student's os really good and teacher's will be helping at any time and they will be free with student's. In our curriculum we have all recent developments
Amrita is well known for it's campus placements if a student talent he will definitely get good placement here big companies like Google Microsoft etc..... will offer good placement of we have overall cgpa above 9
My course costs 0.25M per year
We are in online mood and we didn't campus atleast once?
i did not visit amrita yet due to covid situation. but their online teaching is good. they are using microsoft teams for that.we got amrita email id ,so we can enter in to coursera like online platform for free.
teachers are very good and supportive. more of practical kind of syllabus. i like that. we can improve our communication skills. new technologies are teaching for better placement. they have a specialized placement cell for that in syllabus also.
placement related to biomedical engineering and signal processing is vey low compared to others due to the fact that it is new course in amrita. but other departments have very good companies. we have placement cell. we have 2 courses for placement itself.
it is quiet expensive. but it's worthy
i am not yet visited the campus due to covid scenario. i hope everything goes well
very good
Hey aspirant
When we look into previous year sources in Amrithapuri campus closing rank for cse was around 7k in open quota and 16k in state quota. Im Coimbatore it was around 5k in open quota and 19k in state quota. So chances of getting admission with above rank for cse will be difficult but you have a good chance of getting admission for other branches like ece eee etc.
Greetings, aspirant.
The Pearson score is used to evaluate a candidate's linguistic, reasoning, and attitudinal abilities. It is calculated using a standard formula.
AMRITA admits students depending on their PUEE/SAT scores or their JEE/AEEE rank, whichever is higher.
Admission will be based on the highest of any of these scores, not only the highest of any of these scores.
As a result, there is no formal cut-off point for your Pearson score.
You must do your very best in order to get a good score.
Your chosen branch is assigned based on your performance on the test.
Please do not be concerned about meeting the cut-off score and instead offer your best effort.
If you have a SAT/AEEE or JEE score, it may also be an option for you to consider.
If you are applying using your PUEE score, you need also have an aggregate of 75 percent in PCM in 12th grade and not less than 75 percent in Mathematics as well as other subjects.
I hope this has been of assistance!
Thank you very much!
Hi aspirant,
Your performance in AEEE is pretty good and you had descent chances of getting CSE core or specialisation at either of Bengaluru or Chennai campus as per the previous trends for cutoffs.
The reason why I used had is that almost all the seats for CSE would have been filled by three rounds and you can only get a seat if some seats have been vacant due to other candidates withdrawing their admissions. You can get the detailed information about the previous cutoffs for Aeee at https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/aeee-cutoff/amp
Hope it helps!!
