For admission, you must fulfill the eligibility criteria of the college.

Eligibility criteria is as stated below :-

For Engineering, qualification needed includes minimum 45% in 12th.

Other eligibility criterias are that the candidate must have completed 10+2 examination from recognized Board/University with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the following subjects: Chemistry/Bio-Technology/Biology/Technical Vocational subject/Computer Science/Information Technology/Informatics Practices/Agriculture/Engineering Graphics/Business Studies. Both  JIS College of Engineering and RCC Institute of Information Technology (RCCIIT) are decent colleges. Before giving my verdict directly, I would like to share with you certain insights of both the institutes:

• Infrastructure: Here JIS is a clear winner.
• Faculty: Again JIS takes the lead here.
• Peer group : More or less the same for both the institutes.
• Placements: Again JIS is a winner in this domain.

Therefore, it can be concluded that JIS College of Engineering is a better option over RCCIIT.

As of now Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering, Bangalore does not occupy a place in tier 1 colleges. Also, it does not have a extra ordinary placement record. It offers average placements. And infrastructure is also average.
The Maximum package offered to an aeronautical engineer from DSCE is nearly 15 lakhs per annum.
