.The infrastructure of COER College is disappointing and falls short of expectations. Student reviews reveal that facilities are poorly maintained, with air conditioners that don't work properly and classrooms that flood during heavy rain with no proper drainage system. The hostel Wi-Fi hasn't worked for years despite claiming to be an engineering college, and there are no AC facilities in classrooms, making them uncomfortably hot. The reality of the infrastructure is misleading compared to what is shown online, with many computers in labs not functioning properly. Some labs lack modern equipment and adequate space, and the overall campus area feels cramped due to agricultural land taking up much of the space. The college desperately needs major upgrades to meet modern educational standards
COER College faces issues in academics and professionalism. Many students report that the academic quality is just average, teaching often relies only on notes shared online, and there is a lack of practical exposure and updated methodologies. Some faculty members are still pursuing their qualifications, leading to inconsistent standards, and overall professionalism among staff is lacking, with limited guidance and little emphasis on job readiness or industry standards
COER College placements are disappointing and below expectations. While the college claims a 95% placement rate, student reviews reveal the reality is far worse, with only 30-40% actually getting placed in some batches. Many companies that recruit during campus placements drop students after 2-3 months, and the college displays fake placement posters to mislead prospective studentsThe majority of placement offers come from sales companies or startups with low packages ranging from 2.5-5 LPA, and very few top-tier companies visit the campu. Students often have to find jobs on their own, making the high fees not worth the poor placement outcomes
The infrastructure is not well. The ground of Coer college is in rectangle shape. Also no nonveg food is allowed. The college is pretty small not big in infrastructure. Facilities are available but it's cheap.
Some faculties are well experienced but maximum of them are new and not well experienced in teaching. Most of the faculties leaves the college in few years to find better opportunities. Curriculum is updated and well structured. But I didn't get any chance of selecting optional subjects.
Placement is average. Technical students have to take placement under sales and marketing companies to earn. Packages are very average. Also placement officers are like bank employees. They just don't listen to your expectations and issues.
It costs me 8 lakh to complete my B.tech. But I got the environment where I can grow. So it's ok.
It's good for fest and doing extra curricular activities.
Nope. I have added every thing.
Infrastructure is beautiful and clean , it actually looks like a white House of america and it has greenery ,huge fields for extra curricular activities and auditorium and clubs , cafeteria and different buildings for classes
Teachers are way more hardworking and sweet , they love to teach us and even they are upto solve are queries on the daily basis there is no problem in the field of academics plus it is strict in academic
Very well done in placements , I had been placed from coer college and it is safe to say they actually prepare the student for placement and interview, there's a thing called placement fair is introduced in the college
Over all it is worthy
For hosteller it is fun and for day scholars, it is also fun
The infrastructure of coer university is quite decent. All the classrooms, labs and sports ground are well maintained. The laboratories and libraries have all the facilities.all the classrooms have smart boards.mess food is hygienic.
The academics here in coer university is good.the quality of teaching is also unique and good. The curriculum here is updated and includes all the recent developments. Professors are also very supportive. The study makes you job ready.
The placements in coer college in btech cse department is average. The highest placement in 2023 is around 23 lakhs per year and average package is around 5 lakhs per annum.Around 50 % got placed last year.
As the college tuition is not as high as the other colleges, therefore it's has good ROI . The tuition fees is lakhs 8 lakhs in 4 years. The hostel fees in around 80k per year. According to me, your money's worth it.
The campus life in coer university is amazing. The campus area is around 70 acres. There are many clubs in the college in which students can enroll and be part in it to make friends and connections. The campus is safe as the security is available all the time.
College Infrastructure was good but the classrooms can be better with all the facilities. Labs can have modern equipments & ample space for everyone can work & learn properly. Over all its good but can be well maintained.
I studied BTech in Information Technology and the quality of teaching was good. Specially some of the faculties were great on teaching and clearing our concepts. One thing that can be incorporated is less of theory and more of practical which will make us job ready.
When it comes to placements, at the end of the course still saw many people without a job. As not many companies came for placement. College should bring in more companies for placements so that the students will have high chances of getting the job.
It has the necessary infrastructure along with facilities provided. All the laboratories and other facilities have the equipments needed. Living spaces are also clean and hygienic, and not just one place but the whole college is clean.
I'm currently persuing Btech CSE and the studying material has been good until yet. The quality of teaching is also acceptable many teachers have been good with whatever they teach and there are some developments made.
Placements may have been good of what i have heard so far there have been companies here for placements and many students have already taken an on campus placement. The placement is entirely based on skills and other criterias.
My course is costing 1,70000 Rs per year. And so far it has been good, my course is of total 4 years. It's not been that far yet but i think we need to improve our skills more in order to get a job.
Has been in a rush until yet but have seen alot of events happening here. Like there are many committees already which will provide you many opportunities for participating and engaging in the events.
Equipped with WiFi, smart boards, projectors, and comfortable seating. Air-conditioned with good lighting and acoustics. Well-maintained and regularly updated technology. Lawns are full of colourful flowers
Faculty are too supportive and their behaviour is very helpful. They help us in grow our skills and improve our concepts. They provide us online and offline resources to clear our topics and do practical experiment of the topic
Highest placement -48 lac per annum Average - 8 lac per annum Median salary - 5.5 lac per annum This university offers 85% placement. Top MNCs recruiters here are Wipro, byzus, Infosys , Microsoft, phenoix
This university is absolutely value for money because of its infrastructure, academics, atmosphere. Cost of pet year is 1,60000 for BTech
In this college,my life is average because there is no more place to explore in Roorkee. And my campus life is too good because of my friends and hostel life
College is too good and worth for taking admission because of its supportive faculty and atmosphere. Hostel is average, mess is hygienic but the taste of food is acceptable
Overall campus infrastructure is good surrounded by greenery and have all facilities like big ground, badminton court 24/7 library access , canteen , stationery store and many more the ATM also is in the campus
The academics of the college are also very much good . The faculty of this college are very friendly and were well educated from very respected universities they help students in academics as well solve their personal problems
The internship and job opportunities offered by the university is quite good I believe that it is not that higher amount of packages but obviously not also that bad the university also provide internships to all students in 3rd year
The college campus is also interesting there are many tech fest or cultural fest Dance battle are held in the college like hackathons are tech fest and deep sandhya are cultural fest and the main fest is zion
Infrastructure of college is good. Classroom are not too much large but have capability to sit 60 students .Libraries and canteen is better than other private college in Roorkee. Classroom have Wi-Fi facility and projector and blackboard are well maintained.
Academics is only satisfying because paper work to the students is more compare to other college . Too much assignment becomes student frustrated. Curriculum is updated last year. It is not sufficient to get ready for job.
About the placement it is not sure but last many company visit college and one of these company come with 21 Lakh CTC. Placement percentage is about 50% and the highest package of 6 Lakh secured by a student of Bachelor of Technology CSE student
Cost of Bachelor of Technology CSE course is 170000 per year and hostel fees is 100000 per year. The money is worth because it is fine to get a degree and everything is above from average
I have spent all class days in campus because I stay in college hostel and the grounds and canteen are amazing and here are many plants and trees . All the students, teachers and staff are supportive College is on Haridwar highway and it can handle all emergencies because a hospital is in college campus.
Overall college is good and it have value for money
Infrastructure of college is satisfying. The buildings of classrooms are quite large and ventilated , libraries, canteens, playgrounds are much better than other colleges of roorkee. Overall the infrastructure is quite fine.
Coming to the academics it's quite good but what makes students get frustrated and exhausted is all the assignments and paperworks which gets quite exhausting by the end of the day but the faculties are good and understanding.
Not sure about placements as many companies visit but they don't make it out all the time. But the thing is it's all upto ourselves they provide courses but for a maximum package you have to work on your own.
It's average for value-for-money. As it doesn't provide that qualities of academics and placements. But if you want to do like fine degrees then it's fine to have this college at your own. Everything is fine.
I've spent a quite good days in my campus all day as it has amazing grounds and areas where I've spent a lot of time while writing. Campus life is fun here I've enjoyed a lot during the fests and all the programmes that has been performed here.
