Most of the labs has sufficient Instruments. Few labs need renovation but that labs are managable if you have a laptop. Campus life is vibrant, with around 14–15 active clubs such as Riyaaz (Music), Elysium (Dance), SAC (Automobile Club), Robotics Society (robotics club), Dev Community, KeyGEn Coders (Coding Club), GDGOC etc. KGEC organizes major annual events, the most famous being "Espektro", recognized as West Bengal’s second-largest collegiate fest.
