MIIT Meerut International Institute of Technology provides a detailed admission process for various technical and management programmes. The institution is AICTE-approved and has always adopted merit-based admission procedures for its undergraduate, postgraduate, and diploma courses. To ensure fairness and competition in the admission process, MIIT Meerut considers the scores of several national-level entrance examinations for various programmes.
MIIT Meerut admission cycles will somewhat correlate with an academic calendar, whereby MIIT Meerut admission process commences around the announcement of entrance test results. While this timeline may vary in specifics, students are advised to move in the direction of submission, mainly between May and July, for the academic session starting in August-September.
The B.Tech eligibility criteria stipulate that the candidate must have passed the 10+2 or equivalent examination with at least two compulsory subjects of Physics and Mathematics, along with one subject either Chemistry or Biology, or Biotechnology, or any other vocational subject. The candidates will also have to secure the minimum marks as per the institute's requirements and qualify for the JEE Main examination for MIIT Meerut admission.
The application procedure at MIIT Meerut for various programmes is very easy and straightforward, and the procedure is given below in a detailed manner:
To accommodate the unique requirements of each programme, MIIT Meerut admission procedures may differ. You’ll find a detailed explanation for each course below.
MIIT, with a total intake of 150 seats for B.Tech programmes (60 seats each in Mechanical Engineering and Civil Engineering, and 30 seats in Computer Science and Engineering), will carry out the B.Tech programme pertaining to Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, and Computer Science and Engineering. Thereby, MIIT Meerut admission to these programmes shall rely on JEE Main scores.
The MBA programme is conducted by the institute with an intake of 30 seats.
MIIT conducts Diploma Programmes in Civil Engineering and Mechanical Engineering with a capacity intake of 60 seats each, and the diploma at MIIT Meerut may be based either on state-level diploma entrance examination or 10+2 marks.
