Hello aspirant,

Given your situation, here’s how you can approach the counseling processes:

1. COMEDK Counseling

  • Chances : With a COMEDK rank of 37099, you may have a chance to secure seats in some of the decent engineering colleges in Karnataka, though top branches like CSE might be tough to get in the most sought-after colleges.
  • Process :
    • Register for COMEDK counseling.
    • Participate in the choice filling and locking process.
    • Keep a mix of colleges and branches in your preference list, focusing on those where your rank has a higher chance of securing admission.
  • Why Apply? : Since your COMEDK rank is relatively better compared to your JEE Main rank, applying here could be beneficial.

2. CSAB Counseling (for JEE Main Rank)

  • Chances : With a JEE Main rank of 176225, getting into top NITs, IIITs, or GFTIs might be challenging, especially for CSE. However, you might still secure a seat in lower-tier GFTIs or less preferred branches.
  • Process :
    • Register for CSAB Special Rounds after the JoSAA rounds are completed.
    • Fill in choices wisely, focusing on lower-tier institutes or branches that are less competitive.
  • Why Apply? : It's worth applying since the CSAB rounds can sometimes result in seats opening up due to dropouts or changes in preferences.

3. AKTU Counseling (for Uttar Pradesh Technical University)

  • Chances : Based on your JEE Main rank, you might have a chance to secure a seat in colleges under AKTU, though it might not be in the top branches or colleges.
  • Process :
    • Participate in the UPSEE/AKTU counseling, where you can use your JEE Main rank for seat allocation.
  • Why Apply? : If you are a resident of Uttar Pradesh or prefer colleges in the state, AKTU counseling could be a good backup option.

Should You Participate in More Than One Counseling?

  • Recommendation : Yes, participating in multiple counseling processes increases your chances of getting a seat in a college and branch that aligns with your preferences. You can always choose the best option available after the counseling results.
  • Strategy :
    • COMEDK : Prioritize this if you are interested in colleges in Karnataka.
    • CSAB : Use this as a backup for any possible seats in NITs, IIITs, or GFTIs.
    • AKTU : Keep this as an additional backup, especially if you prefer staying in Uttar Pradesh.

How to Proceed:

  1. Register for all the counseling processes you are eligible for.
  2. Fill Choices based on your preference, starting with the best possible option and then listing down to your backup choices.
  3. Monitor the Rounds : Keep track of the seat allocation rounds, and be prepared to make decisions quickly.
  4. Be Ready with Documents : Ensure all your documents are ready for verification during the counseling process.

By participating in multiple counseling processes, you maximize your chances of securing a seat in a decent college without taking a drop.

Hope it helps !

If you joined SIT college in the first round of KEA seat allotment but did not report to the KEA authority, your seat will be considered "cancelled" and you will not be eligible to participate in subsequent rounds of counselling, even if you are physically attending classes at SIT college; you must complete the online reporting process through the KEA portal to officially accept your seat.

Hey there! Thanks for reaching out to us at Careers360. I'll do my best to help you out.

So you're in 10th standard and interested in SIT, huh? That's great you're thinking ahead about your education! Just to make sure we're on the same page - when you say SIT, are you talking about Symbiosis Institute of Technology ? There are a few schools with those initials, so I want to be sure.

Assuming it is Symbiosis, here's the deal: You've still got some time before you can apply there directly. SIT is an engineering college, so you'll need to finish your 12th standard with Physics, Chemistry, and Math first.

But don't worry! You're on the right track by asking these questions early. Here's what I'd suggest:

1. Focus on doing well in your 10th standard exams. Those grades will matter when you apply to junior college.

2. After 10th, choose a science stream for your 11th and 12th.

3. While in 11th and 12th, start prepping for entrance exams like JEE Main . SIT usually considers these scores.

If you want, I can dig up some more specific info about SIT's admission process. Just let me know if that would be helpful. And hey, good luck with your studies! It's awesome that you're planning ahead like this.

Yes, you are eligible to sit for the SSC (Junior Hindi Translator) exam even if you did not study Hindi in your B.A. or M.A. in English.

The SSC JHT exam evaluates a candidate's proficiency in Hindi and English. While having studied Hindi in your previous degrees can be beneficial, it is not a strict requirement. As long as you meet the general eligibility criteria for the exam (such as educational qualifications and age limits), you can apply and appear for it.

However, it's advisable to prepare thoroughly for the Hindi language section of the exam. You might want to consider taking Hindi language courses or practicing Hindi grammar and vocabulary to enhance your skills.

Hello there,

To appear in JEE MAIN exam, a student must have scored 75% (General Category), 65% (SC\ST) with physics, chemistry, mathematics and english as their core subjects.

Hi there,

Hope you are doing well.

Generally the examination for the students appearing in the compartment examination is taken separately and not with the regular students which are appearing for their boards exam first time.

The paper is also different for both types of students and the timing and date of the examination is also separate from it. You can check more about the compartmental examination by visiting the official website of the examination authority and the state board in which you are appearing for the examination and thus get a detailed idea about the examination and all the necessary stuffs related to it.

Hope this resolves your query.

Hello Aspirant

Yes, you can definitely sit for the TSEAMCET examination even if you have completed your 12th grade from the International Baccalaureate (IB) program.

Many states in India, including Telangana where you wish to apply, have recognized the IB diploma as equivalent to the 12th standard qualification. This means you can apply for entrance exams like TSEAMCET without any issues.

For the year 2024, counseling registration, payment of fees, and slot booking for the final phase will be done by the 8th of August and you can pay the tuition fees for the final phase till the 13th of August.

Hope this helps
