Electrical and Electronics Engineering deals with the study, analysis and application of electricity, electronics and electromagnetism. Applications have now spread widely into power systems, power electronics, advanced machines, industrial drives, automation, control and microelectronics. Enormous work in energy harvesting has provided a new dimension to power generation using renewable energy sources like solar, wind and fuel cells. Innovation in automobile sector is heading towards electric vehicles to address the issue of global warming.

Eligibility Criteria

A pass in the 12th standard or equivalent examination with not less than 45% marks as an aggregate in the optional subjects of Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Computers/Electronics, with English being one of the languages of study.
The candidate should have completed 17 years of age as on 31st December of the year of admission.

Admission Details

Candidates who have passed Class 12 in India, fall under General Category. Admission to Engineering program under General Category is based on merit in the All India Entrance Test - NUCAT (Nitte University Common Admission Test).

College Infrastructure

The college has good infrastructure. The classrooms are spacious. The laboratories, library are well equipped. We have first class sports center. WiFi connectivity is also available. All are kept well maintained.

College Infrastructure

Our college is well far way from the hustling -bustling noise of the Karkala town, thus ensuring an ideal environment. It is well equipped with great amenities both related to academics as well as sports. There are lot of efforts taken to raise the standards of existing infrastructure.

College Infrastructure

The infrastructure of the college is very good. The classrooms have good lighting and are also equipped with projectors and sound amplifiers. The cleanliness of the classrooms are well maintained. The laboratories are modern. The campus has a central library and the various departments also have their own libraries. Gardens in the campus are well maintained. Sports facilities such as basketball court, cricket ,football ground and indoor sports area is also present.
