College Infrastructure
Our college campus have proper infrastructure and a clean environment. Our classes and libraries are well equipped. Hostels are neat, clean and well constructed. Sports centres are also nice. Food here is not less than home. We get tasty and hygienic food here. Hostels and college are wifi equipped.
Academics
I'm studying Btech here from CS dept. Our faculty members are very intellectual as well as supporting. We get our syllabus proper covered within fixed period of time. There is quality and clarity in our lectures. Our faculty members also arrange doubt classes for us. Our curriculum is up to date and meets all our expectations.
Placements
Placements are good here in all departments, we get many good companies in our campus. The placement percent previous year was 84%. The highest package was of 8-9 lakh. And average package of 4-5 lakhs.
Value-for-money
The total cost per year is around 3.5 lakh and it's completely worth.
Campus Life
Our college is situated at a proper place with best sports facilities, yoga facility, different technical as well as non technical clubs. Here is proper facility of our entertainment.
Anything Else
Our college is one of the best colleges of Karnataka and it's providing us the best.

I had Joined the college thinking that it has decent placements and very good faculty. I was wrong. Not all faculty members are good. There are only a few very excellent faculties(Few professors and 4-5 lecturers). Most of the lecturers do not know what they are teaching. The lecturers have more shortage of attendance than students. The male lecturers are partial towards female students. After internals, when girls go to check their papers, they get additional marks for no justifiable reason. Some lecturers take advantage of the college being Autonomous. They intentionally fail students during labs if they feel like it. Coming to the infrastructure, the EC department is on the 3rd floor and there are only 2 elevators to cater to the needs of around 3000-4000 students. There Wi-Fi facility, but you can only access intranet services, not Internet services. The college is in the middle of a Jungle and you cannot access Mobile data inside the college. The college claims to be a member of NPTEL, but not a single NPTEL lecture video can be accessed from the college. The library is very small. Though the college is Autonomous, it still follows outdated syllabus of the Vtu that has been criticized so much in the newspaper. The Lecturers advice us to follow standard books, but they themselves refer local author text books. Coming to placements, there is a lot of placements in the college. But core companies for E&C are very few or none at all. The major recruiters are Infosys, Accenture and Wipro offering no more than 3.5 lakhs CTC(same packages offered to Bsc and Bcom Graduates). The core companies only recruit CD students. The college leaves no chance of making money. They take so much money as branch fund for technical and cultural festivals and during these fests all students wonder as to why they paid so much for branch fund. The students themselves end up paying the cost of organizing the events. During the final year when students land a job in an MRC, he/she will be wondering was it worth 4yrs of engineering to get a job in a company paying the same packages to BA, Bsc and Bcom Graduates? For day scholars especially who travel 60 kms daily one way it wasn't worth it. For all people from Mangalore/Udupi and everyone else I would like to say that if you think you are joining a good engineering college, you are wrong. The other colleges nearby are much better. The other colleges really cater to the students needs. This college is only high in ranking because it is one of the older colleges and students joining the college have decent Rank. But you can observe that not a single student(Even Gold medalists) will be GATE Qualified. Students who study BE here will be masters of M.Tech(Mugging Technology). Lastly I would like to say that this is only my opinion and I am not forcibly telling you not to join the college. I am just telling this because I was a day scholar from Mangalore and every day I used to wake up at 6 and leave for college by 7. I would reach home only after 7. I could not do a wonderful project nor could I qualify in GATE. After my graduation I still did not get my joining date despite being placed. Now I am at the same place as I was before I joined engineering. This is all I would like to say.

Internet access(Campus WiFi) is bad. Teaching is excellent. Hostel is good. Food courts are satisfactory. Over all college is amazing. The environment is peaceful. Lot of exposure to industrial experience. It is fun to work and learn. Sports is also encouraged. Lot of workshops and other guest lectures are conducted. The campus recruitment is very good. Placement training are also conducted. They also train us for masters course. Student exchange programs are conducted every year. I recommend this college to anyone reading this

By the 5th semester starts projects help us to put our logic into test but 80% people don't do anything and by the end of the 4th year , everyone is clueless!! Hostel life is good , but there is nothing near by!! If u want to enjoy this is not the place !! This place is to suffer but study and learn new things !!

College life is something that we enjoyed the most, the faculty is well experienced and helpful in nature. Classroms are well equiped. Hostels are safe, though boring and heat is unbearable during summer seasons . Field trips are organised to familiarise students with industrial activities.

Being a Medical aspirant, thinking of joining engineering was a very tough decision. I joined NMAMIT as a management student in the year 2014. The college was way more than I expected .The college campus is amidst greenery and hills. You can enjoy the scenic beauty of the Nitte village from the 5th floor . The education system is very good than most of the colleges in Karnataka. It is an autonomous college affiliated to VTU. All the lecturers are well qualified and the quality of teaching is excellent. Equal importance is given to co curricular activities and sports. There are many college run clubs like the Rachana(the art club) ,Silver screen(the movie club), Grey matter(quiz club),kalanjali dance club ,stereo club etc.Adding to these are the team Nitte racing and aero club. The college boasts a international level cricket ground being curated for ranji matches. The national level basketball selections for 2015 was conducted in the indoor stadium of NMAMIT. There are several food joints in and around the college. The college is just 55kms from Mangalore ,and 35kms from Manipal. So I strongly recommend this college if you want to have fun doing engineering

infrastructure is good enough but still labs are not well equipped. Trying its best to give the max to the students. IEL & IGW classes are held for the students to improve their communication skills and professional ethics. Not yet placed because a pre final student. But hoping to get in a good company. Not a hostellite. Crowd is amazing. Amazingly affordable. Food wise travel wise good good. Environment is calm and peaceful.

So here is everything I got to tell about my college NMAMIT: 1. College is good in many aspects such as good placement opportunity, lecturers are very helpful, very good infrastructure, conduct seminars & workshops for real time project experience 2.The environment is very good, greenery everywhere and is peaceful. It is a good place to study. Even though its isolation from the city is sometimes frustrating but the public transportation is quite good so it's manageable. 3.Good hostel. Me being a hostelite have enjoyed this life to the core. Sometimes you will feel sick of the hostel food but trust me it is better than many hostels I have known. 4.No ragging. Yes, you read it right! there is absolutely no ragging in the campus. So the freshers can absolutely be happy about it. TO sum it up I would like to say if you have a decent rank of around 3500 then you can definitely go for NMAMIT. I would suggest to for CS,IS,EC because the placement for these branches is really good.

The college is well-known for its placements and quality education. The teachers are really supportive and the projects works assigned literally boosts our knowledge about the subjects and helps us to know about the subject in depth. Hostel life is the best. Trust me, hostel food is above average. I am thankful to all the faculty members for their continuous guidance which really helped me succeed.

The best faculty and teaching is what NMAMIT is known for and I am privileged to be one among the students studying here. The environment here is study supportive. Placements department and its activities are those things that impress me the most. The supporting faculty are the main reasons why students succeed.

NMAMIT is a decent choice for all of you with your CET ranking around 3500. I would suggest you choose this college for the following reasons: 1. Even though the college is away from the city it has a very nice and clean environment and greenery which makes it beautiful. 2. Faculties are very friendly and have a good qualification. I'm studying Computer Science here and have found that almost all the lecturers teach well. 3.Yes, about the placements I would say that it is comparatively best in the region apart from the NIT-K. A bunch of companies offering a decent package recruit students every year. 4.If you want to bunk classes and hang out with your friends, be careful as the college is very strict about your attendance. You should have a minimum of 85% in all the subjects to be able to write your semester end exams. Otherwise be ready to pay fine! .Overall it is a good college where you can enjoy your engineering life.

Talking about the student crowd, the college is heterogeneous in nature. We have students from all over the country and outside. The gymnasium of the college stands as a huge attraction to the hostelites. Placements are the best if Computer Science engineering is considered. It records upto 100% placements. The gardens, food, parks, campus, temple, library, canteen and the classes are what makes your college life the best.

So talking about the infrastructure of the college, you have the best environment here for a great academics. The greenery around and the supporting weather just makes you get into that study mood. Adding to it are the facilities like 24*7 library, digital library, best canteen and many more. The college provides you with a lot of workshops and internship opportunities to choose from, so that we as a student from NMAMIT are not lagging behind in updating ourselves with the current technologies in the IT Sector. And being a hostelite, I have been here and experienced that. 0% ragging and the most homely atmosphere is what makes you fall in love with the place here. Trust me, the food you get here is the best compared to any other 'mess' food. The college is really affordable, because whatever you pay is worth it! The lecturers are really experienced and help you out in every phase of your learning. Determination, dedication and hard work are something you will master in. Extra-curricular activities are the most supported ones and believe me, you will never regret joining NMAMIT. All the best :)

There are pros and cons for this college as everything on this planet. pros good infrastructure good surrounding good cafeteria and other facilities good labs and easy to score marks cons lecturers are average some good some bad they dont go out of scope of textbook there is lot of politics involved within the administration and are heavily money minded strict rules on using phones and rules change when they want especially in hostel . join only if u want a semi-peaceful book loving life ahead thank you.

A mixture of good and bad. Bad experiences with peer as most of them are narrow minded. Good when it comes to freedom. No hefty fines are collected as in other colleges. Friendly faculties who motivate students. Good computer facilities. Bad wifi speed.

Its a good college overall the faculty are good and very supportive like everything else even this college has its pros and cons i wouldnt say its all good theres good and theres bad...but overall it was a good experience for me.Some changes need to be done in the system and its good to see that some of the faculty are trying to bring about these changes once these changes r done then it might be a comparable college with the NITs.

The institution is good with enough facilities for all purposes. There is enough exposure for growth in all directions and the faculty here is also supportive. The college provides a lot of training to all its students to make sure that most of them are placed as per their expectations. Though this place is a little away from the city, the journey towards the college is great. Activities happening in the college helps the students to discover their talents and abilities. The one who grabs the various opportunities makes the most out of them!!

The college is good and nice and there are lot of rumors you shouldn't believe . the college life here is good. and allows to have opportunities . but it is always on how we take the surrounding because ultimately the rules of colleges will be same but if we can make good out of it then life is nice. faculty's are helpful and good in teaching.

NMAMIT has a amazing infrastructure. It just need few lab equipment because of which we need not restrict our ideas. In terms of industrial exposures i do not think its reaching most of them. Core companies coming for placement is too less. Mass recruiters are more. Since i am a day scholar i cannot comment on hostels. College professors are supportive, helpful and are fine with their teaching but can be improved a lot. This college has good number of students from different places. The food, travelling, and other expenses are completely affordable.

A good college to be in! Firstly the dress code. We were never burdened to buy new clothes (salwars) as in other colleges..and allowed to wear any neat and clean cothes! No ragging is what I have seen! Far from the city.. Yet comfortingly good! After 4 years this college wouldn't be anyone's 'REGRET'! I would recommend NMAMIT blindly to anyone! Because one day when I will be sitting on a chair wondering about life, I will tell myself "Those were the days!!!"

Our College Has really good classrooms when it comes to infrastructure. More outdoor industry visits or real life applications of what we study must be explained rather than just teaching academic materials. The Students should be made employable rather than being taught how to work like puppets or robots. College Life Could become more happening if amount of study hours/ study curriculum was reduced giving the students enough time to attend other workshops, seminars because these usually come during class hours. Placement offers are really good which we will get once we are in the final year. College Hostels are good as far as I have heard but Im a day scholar Professors should know how to teach students. Its not enough if they themselves have knowlegde. They should know how to impart that knowledge to others. Student diversity helps a lot. It teaches how how to mingle with others. How to work with people from different communities. This also helps in understanding how different each one is from one another but also how close we are in terms of ideas and thoughts. College is affordable in terms of College Fees, Other Fees, Food Costs and Cost of Living in general. Library facilities are excellent which helps to a large extent.

Companies ranging from 3.5LPA upto 31LPA come here. Also the min CGPA for 31LPA company was 6.0. They are just looking for intelligent people. Awesome placement. Faculty is not so good. Average. Being autonomous the teachers think that they are the boss! Actually most are just worthless and dont know anything. Major drawback is that the college is inside a village. No fun or entertaining medium.

Hostel is good. College labs are outdated. Industrial exposure is not there. Fees in management is high compared to the standard. Place is good. There many hostels nearby. Pg is available at all prices. There are many hotels. All the basic amenities are available in nearby shops. Bus facility is good. There are buses every 15 mins to both the sides. Nearby town is karkala. There is a theater too

"Nitte Mahalinga Adyanthaya Memorial Institute of Technology is an autonomous engineering college in Nitte, Karnataka, India." I hardly have anything good to write about the college, so I'll start with my points of why you should not join nitte. The location is a headache, you have to travel for 12 hours by bus from Bangalore to reach the college. the college is surrounded from all sides by forests. Girl hostel's entry closes by 6pm whereas the classes only get over by 5:30 pm. The locals are very biased toward the north Indians. They'd ask us " which village are you from?" ,including the teachers. You will be harshly judged if you belong to Bihar, which I think prevails in the entire country but here it is too much. The hostel food is disgusting. You ask for a little bit of more chicken, the look you receive is pathetic. The college is 2 km away from the hostel as well. They'd give an hour's break and ask 5000 people to eat and come fast and not expect you to be even 5 mins late. We've even found a snake once in your hostel room- it's that bad! The way they misguide you on the web is hilarious. Plus it took us a semester to start remembering the entire name of the college. Now the better things- the campus is nice with good infrastructure , placement is average. overall, the college is worse than most of the other engineering colleges in Karnataka!!

Excellent ROI and faculty at my institute. Many people don't know about the college because of less marketing. The only thing college lacks is the On-campus hostel experience. Most of the students are residing in the nearby area due to no hostel facilities. ROI of this college is very good for which one can prefer this college to other colleges present in the same league.
