The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) and the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) have both approved the institute since its establishment in 1990. The institute is affiliated with the Board of Technical Education, Government of Uttar Pradesh.
ATI Lucknow courses include diploma in mechanical stream (aircraft maintenance), diploma in mechanical stream (helicopter and power plants), and diploma in avionics ATI Lucknow eligibility criteria require the candidates to have passed 10+2 (PCM group) with 50% marks. For Aeronautical Training Institute Lucknow admission, the candidates must show up for the AMECET or JEECUP entrance exam.
ATI Lucknow admissions are based on the merit list prepared by JEECUP or AME CET according to the marks obtained by the candidates in the entrance test.
