Hi there,

Yes, you will be eligible to appear for the JEE exams in the year 2027 if you meet all other criteria. But you cannot complete your 10th and 12th in consecutive years, as it requires a minimum of two years' gap between both classes.

NIOS, like all other recognized boards, follows this rule. You cannot skip class 11th. And if you complete your 12th class in 2027, considering you will complete your 10th class in 2025, you will be eligible to appear for the JEE exams in the year you passed 12th and the subsequent year.

Okay , thanks for the answer and what i actually meant was that I will give 10 in 2026 april- may ( get the result in June and original marksheet till August) and let's just assume I take admission in 12th from school( it happens u know ) not nios, means my 12th academic year would be 2026 - 2027 and then can I give jee exams ( i will prepare properly for it) in 2027 , would there be any problem ( i wouldn't opt for it if I had other choices)
