I am preparing for clat. I am currently scoring 85-95 in mocks. I am a dropper . What are my chances of getting into NLSIU banglore.
Hi,
As of now there are only 53 seats (out of 80) for UR category candidates. In 2018 the Last UR category candidate who got admission in NLSIU secured 66th rank in CLAT 2018. Here I would also like to tell you that there is no reservation for State domicile holder candidates. Aman Garg got 159 out of 200 marks and was ranked first. If the reservation/quota situation remains as it is and you score of 85-95 remains among the top 53 candidates then you can be sure of getting a seat at NLSIU Bangalore. But, going by the trends, as you are a candidate who belongs to General category, I have to say that with this CLAT score of 85-95 you won't be able to secure a seat in any NLU, leave alone NLSIU Banglore which is most sought after by the CLAT aspirants. As you are from MP I would like to tell you that even in newly established DNLU Jabalpur an UR candidate, who scored 95.5 (CLAT Rank 3605) with state domicile was offered a seat only in Second round of allotment. So, you have to work hard on improving your performance to get a seat at any NLU. I hope it helps!
