Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Mechanical Engineering is a four-year (8 Semesters) full-time undergraduate program recognized by AICTE and it is offered by the Netaji Subhas University of Technology, New Delhi.

Programme Educational Objectives (PEOs):

Provide students with a strong foundation in the fundamentals of Mathematics, Science and Engineering to enable them to devise and deliver efficient solutions to challenging problems in the areas of Manufacturing, Automation and Management.
Be receptive to new technologies and attain professional competence through lifelong learning such as advanced degrees, professional registration, publications and other professional activities.
Practice professional ethics consistent with a sense of social responsibility so that they can work as independent individuals as well as a member of the multi-disciplinary teams.
Develop the ability to design and conduct experiments, as well as to organize, analyze and interpret data to produce meaningful conclusions and recommendations to the society.

Eligibility Criteria

The qualifying examination for admission to all the participating Universities / Institutes is any of the following examinations:

Senior School Certificate Examination (12-year course) of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi.
Indian School Certificate Examination (12-year course) of the Council for Indian School Certificate Examination, New Delhi.
Any other examination recognized as equivalent to the Senior School Certificate Examination of the CBSE

Delhi Region Candidates (85% of seats) - A candidate passing the qualifying examination from a recognized School / College /Institute located within the National Capital Territory (NCT) of Delhi will be considered for Delhi Region only.

Outside Delhi Region Candidates (15% of seats) - A candidate passing the qualifying examination from a recognized School / College / Institute located outside the National Capital Territory of Delhi will be considered for Outside Delhi Region only.

Minimum Marks Criterion in Qualifying Examination - A candidate securing 60% or more marks in the aggregate of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, and have passed English as a subject of study at the Senior School Certificate Examination Level (Core or Elective) AND having JEE Main Rank (Paper 1) shall be eligible for admission to the first semester of B. Tech. / B. E. course provided he/she has passed in each subject separately.

Admission Details

NSUT Delhi has been admitting students to its undergraduate programs on the basis of marks obtained by them in the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) - MAIN, which is been conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) every year.

College Infrastructure

Studying at Netaji Subhas University of Technology has been a rewarding experience overall. The university provides a strong academic environment with experienced faculty members who are supportive and knowledgeable in their respective fields. The campus infrastructure is modern and well-maintained, with good classrooms, labs, libraries, and sports facilities. One of the highlights of college life at NSUT is the active student community and the variety of technical, cultural, and extracurricular events organized throughout the year. The placement opportunities are quite good, especially for engineering and technical branches, with many reputed companies visiting the campus. The atmosphere is competitive yet motivating, helping students grow both academically and personally. Overall, NSUT offers a balanced and enriching college experience.

College Infrastructure

the college has all basic infrastructure requirements. some equipments might be outdated and not upto today's standards. wifi and smartboards are well equipped in every classroom, overall decent rooms

My college is definitely good and recommended.

Personally I feel college infrastructure is very good it just need some modifications and it is in developing stage . Although it is much better than many of other colleges of btech private or government
