Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Mechanical Engineering is a four-year (8 Semesters) full-time undergraduate program recognized by AICTE and it is offered by the Netaji Subhas University of Technology, New Delhi.

Programme Educational Objectives (PEOs):

Provide students with a strong foundation in the fundamentals of Mathematics, Science and Engineering to enable them to devise and deliver efficient solutions to challenging problems in the areas of Manufacturing, Automation and Management.
Be receptive to new technologies and attain professional competence through lifelong learning such as advanced degrees, professional registration, publications and other professional activities.
Practice professional ethics consistent with a sense of social responsibility so that they can work as independent individuals as well as a member of the multi-disciplinary teams.
Develop the ability to design and conduct experiments, as well as to organize, analyze and interpret data to produce meaningful conclusions and recommendations to the society.

Eligibility Criteria

The qualifying examination for admission to all the participating Universities / Institutes is any of the following examinations:

Senior School Certificate Examination (12-year course) of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi.
Indian School Certificate Examination (12-year course) of the Council for Indian School Certificate Examination, New Delhi.
Any other examination recognized as equivalent to the Senior School Certificate Examination of the CBSE

Delhi Region Candidates (85% of seats) - A candidate passing the qualifying examination from a recognized School / College /Institute located within the National Capital Territory (NCT) of Delhi will be considered for Delhi Region only.

Outside Delhi Region Candidates (15% of seats) - A candidate passing the qualifying examination from a recognized School / College / Institute located outside the National Capital Territory of Delhi will be considered for Outside Delhi Region only.

Minimum Marks Criterion in Qualifying Examination - A candidate securing 60% or more marks in the aggregate of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, and have passed English as a subject of study at the Senior School Certificate Examination Level (Core or Elective) AND having JEE Main 2018 Rank (Paper 1) shall be eligible for admission to the first semester of B. Tech. / B. E. course provided he/she has passed in each subject separately.

College Infrastructure

NSUT offers a solid blend of modern technologies lab with reliable equipment and and spacious classrooms with proper seating and energetic vibing of wall art all over the college . Apart from these there are many building and enhances the beauty of college .

Here ,the only thing you can see is semester books,viva etc.

College Infrastructure

I would give 4 out 5 giving 4/5 for infrastructure feels fair because the campus delivers strong academic support with modern essentials, while a few maintenance and distance-related frictions remain. The academic blocks have well-equipped classrooms and labs that support hands-on learning; access to computing facilities, library resources, and lecture halls is generally smooth and organized. Yehi balance—functional classrooms + labs + library depth—daily learning ko reliable banata hai. Campus spread is a clear positive: open, green spaces, dedicated sports areas, and a structured layout make movement logical and campus life active. Sports grounds, indoor facilities, and basic utilities (bank/ATM, medical support, helpdesks) ensure routine needs are addressed without derailing study schedules—matlab infrastructure day-to-day rhythm ko support karta hai. Hostels and connectivity add to the stability: separate accommodation blocks, campus Wi‑Fi, and common spaces help students manage academics and downtime together. Common areas and service points reduce friction during peak academic weeks—yeh subtle cheezein overall experience ko steady rakhti hain. Why not 5/5? On a large campus, walking distances between blocks can feel long, and some facilities show uneven upkeep or delayed fixes—particularly in select labs or activity areas. Kabhi-kabhi cafeteria/vendor churn and small admin delays bhi experience ko thoda affect kar sakte hain. These are not deal-breakers, but they keep it a solid 4/5 instead of flawless. Net-net, infrastructure is dependable, student-first, and aligned with academic priorities. If someone values structured learning environments, usable labs, active sports spaces, and a campus that feels like a self-contained ecosystem, NSUT’s infra genuinely delivers—4/5 is a thoughtful, grounded rating.

College Infrastructure

Labs are good for CS, but core branches labs doesn't live up to the expectation. Theory classes are well equipped with wifi, ac, smartboard,etc. For sports, there are enough grounds for different sports. There is also a gym, but equipments are not that well maintained.
