Instrumentation is a very broad area in the sense that it has an interdisciplinary character. There is a proliferation of a variety of Instrumentation systems for a variety of purpose.

There is hardly any area of Engineering, Science and Technology where Instrumentation in one form or the other is not needed. As a certain process is becoming more and more automated, the need for a closer monitoring of inputs and responses become more obligatory and the instruments at the component and sub - system levels tend to become more and more integrated. Full cognizance has been taken of this situation while planning instruction in this area. Students do intensive use of microprocessors and Computers to understand the hardware and software aspect of Intelligent Instrumentation.

Okay so I entered this college with mixed expectations but I was pleasantly surprised. Not only the college provides us with excellent academic opportunities but also it is no slouch in the extracurriculars. There is a society for literally everything, from acting to video games. The campus is beautiful, full of lush green grounds and buildings, there are 6 hostels and 3 canteens. The hostels are actually surprisingly good, I thoroughly enjoyed my time there. There is free high-speed wifi (up to 500-600 Mbps) in the campus area and the hostels. All in all, I'd say it is one of the best colleges available right now! Do your research, you should consider NSIT.

Placements : The companies like Google, Amazon, Samsung, Brain, Adobe visited the campus. Quite a number of students were placed last year. The highest package was offered by Google of 1.25 crore per year to around 7 students. The average package offered was around 8 lacs per annum. The lowest salary was around 4 lacs per annum. The roles of analyst and engineers were offered to the students. Around 70 percent students got internships. Infrastructure : The campus is spread over 150 acres. It has a well-maintained cricket and football ground with other courts also. It also has a gym. The hostel is easily available to the majority of students. There is a central library too. Quite a number of food courts are also there. Faculty : The course curriculum was updated just 2 years back. So, it contains all the subjects to learn in accordance with modern day. The curriculum comprises of mid-semester and end semester papers, with regular internals and external practicals. It is based on CGPA system. The faculty are better than other colleges who are willing to help students and teach them honestly. Other : The college has a better learning and academic environment. Also, it organises fests and annual sports week. Each class contains a reasonable number of students, and it's not overcrowded. Hostel and mess facilities are up to the mark with a separate hostel for girls. The area around the campus is also a calm and peaceful one.

The 2nd best college in Delhi

It's an excellent college with a very healthy atmosphere. The 150 acre campus boasts of various academic blocks and a huge library, sports grounds, hostels, activity centres, canteens etc. The studies are good, and the faculties are really helpful. There is a good intellectual level of the crowd that attends the college. The main selling point of this college are it's placements. The placements at NSIT are way better than any other engineering college in Delhi and it is being seen year after year. The college fest is one of the best in the whole country. This college is never boring as there are plenty of societies which keep on conducting activities at all times and have their own fests. The senior-junior interaction is very healthy and there is nothing more one could expect for, while in this college. The only shortcoming is, that everything takes a little extra time. Sometimes one can get surprise notices like classes being suspended for a few hours or something.

I love this college.I had though hoped better because you never get what you think. In my case too things are not like what we expect but they are not bad either. In the end placement is what matters, and that's really good. Talking of infrastructure, that's also ok. Faculty is quite helpful but few guest lecturers don't teach as per planned. Overall I would say this college is great.

Good Faculties are the best part of the college. They make you feel like school where you can learn anything you want. Seniors who run various societies are also very motivating and helpful. This college is having maximum number of societies that can hel you find your passion and career othet than engineering. The college is good in almost each and every aspect. It is different from normal colleges because here you enjoy while learning.
