I love my college.

Okay so I entered this college with mixed expectations but I was pleasantly surprised. Not only the college provides us with excellent academic opportunities but also it is no slouch in the extracurriculars. There is a society for literally everything, from acting to video games. The campus is beautiful, full of lush green grounds and buildings, there are 6 hostels and 3 canteens. The hostels are actually surprisingly good, I thoroughly enjoyed my time there. There is free high-speed wifi (up to 500-600 Mbps) in the campus area and the hostels. All in all, I'd say it is one of the best colleges available right now! Do your research, you should consider NSIT.

Placements : The companies like Google, Amazon, Samsung, Brain, Adobe visited the campus. Quite a number of students were placed last year. The highest package was offered by Google of 1.25 crore per year to around 7 students. The average package offered was around 8 lacs per annum. The lowest salary was around 4 lacs per annum. The roles of analyst and engineers were offered to the students. Around 70 percent students got internships. Infrastructure : The campus is spread over 150 acres. It has a well-maintained cricket and football ground with other courts also. It also has a gym. The hostel is easily available to the majority of students. There is a central library too. Quite a number of food courts are also there. Faculty : The course curriculum was updated just 2 years back. So, it contains all the subjects to learn in accordance with modern day. The curriculum comprises of mid-semester and end semester papers, with regular internals and external practicals. It is based on CGPA system. The faculty are better than other colleges who are willing to help students and teach them honestly. Other : The college has a better learning and academic environment. Also, it organises fests and annual sports week. Each class contains a reasonable number of students, and it's not overcrowded. Hostel and mess facilities are up to the mark with a separate hostel for girls. The area around the campus is also a calm and peaceful one.

A good college experience. Simple

The college has a good infrastructure and is very big. One can go out for a walk at all times and in such a polluted state like Delhi, this is a perfect college with so much greenery that it feels like there is a totally different atmosphere in the college. Therefore, it provides a healthy environment and is easy to commute from metro. Like just a 8 minute walk or 1 can take an e-rickshaw. I stay occupied at all times because I'm working on different projects and society from the 1st semester itself. Many opportunities are provided here and I feel like it is one of the best colleges in INDIA. At the end of the day, you feel like your hard work in 11th and 12th finally paid off.

The 2nd best college in Delhi

It's an excellent college with a very healthy atmosphere. The 150 acre campus boasts of various academic blocks and a huge library, sports grounds, hostels, activity centres, canteens etc. The studies are good, and the faculties are really helpful. There is a good intellectual level of the crowd that attends the college. The main selling point of this college are it's placements. The placements at NSIT are way better than any other engineering college in Delhi and it is being seen year after year. The college fest is one of the best in the whole country. This college is never boring as there are plenty of societies which keep on conducting activities at all times and have their own fests. The senior-junior interaction is very healthy and there is nothing more one could expect for, while in this college. The only shortcoming is, that everything takes a little extra time. Sometimes one can get surprise notices like classes being suspended for a few hours or something.

NSIT - a dream come true

Everyone dreams of pursuing education from a prestigious college. Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology, New Delhi is listed among top engineering colleges in India. The college has excellent faculties, well maintained labs with well equipped apparatus and instruments. Apart from studies, the college also encourage students in boosting their interest in other activities. The college life becomes for happening because of the societies in the college. The new pattern which was passed in a meeting last year has lessen the burden of students. The college had made mandatory to chose an elective subject like dance, music, sports etc. as one of their subject for assessment. Apart from this, the college has excellent records in terms of placement. Also every year many students make their way to top colleges to pursue their higher studies. The college provides an excellent atmosphere for learning, a healthy atmosphere for competition and a platform to showcase your skills. Also it has amazing hostel facilities. Many initiatives are took by the professors of the college so that students could understand better such as field trips are organised for mechanical students so that they could relate properly to what they have been taught. Putting light on college's campus, the college has a very large and beautiful campus which is full of greenery. It has two auditoriums, sports ground for playing cricket, football, basketball court, canteens , stationary shop, ice cream parlour , library and lots more facilities.

Most people come to NSIT with dreams of becoming very qualified engineers and get jobs of very high remuneration, and the college does indeed strive to give it to them. The Placement Cell is one of the most hardworking people during the placement season. Another good thing about the college that there are plenty of clubs and societies that are there for you to join, and some of them, like the Quiz Club have no cap on how many members to take in. As for teachers, you'll have both good and bad here. There are a few who will teach you, inspire you, and if you've done well, won't hesitate to give you marks. There are some sadistic ones as well, who'll cut marks for just about anything. Another thing to watch out for as attendance. Some teachers make a lot of errors, so make sure you have your attendance up to the mark. The college administration works at a pace to put a tortoise to shame, so it is advisable to have a few weeks in advance if you need something official done. Overall, the infrastructure is good, the labs are updated quite rarely, so it is expected that you won't get many outputs correctly during either the practicals or the exams. The outside lawns and other horticulture is maintained quite well, and it is a matter of pride for the college that they've won accolades in nearly every horticultural exhibition/competition they enter into. There's every kind of people here, and this has a lot of potential to teach you about life as much as engineering, and it all depends on the choices you make.

Fullfill basic ammenties

Friends my college Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology is very prominent college in the Delhi. There are so many cultural activities and researches in this university. The laboratories are equipped with the latest technologies related to all fields especially when taken into the consideration of the mechanical engineering. The only default about my college is the scientific environment and the infrastructure. Discussions, organizing workshops and encouraging my friends in national and international competitions will increase the knowledge of one self. Renovation of the college should be done so that everyone gets attracted towards our college as it is said FIRST IMPRESSION IS THE LAST IMPRESSION .Each class of the college must be upgraded to fulfill the basic amenities of the college .If these two things are taken into the consideration then our college will be the best.

NSIT-THE SO CALLED BETTER COLLEGE

Since the college has become the brand lately because of some brilliant students it has witnessed in COE, IT and ECE department, they are hardly giving the attention to the core branches. In fact once in the meeting with the students they compelled them to learn coding and all demotivated the students that the college can not being tech companies for you. Most ridiculous thing I could have heard from so called better colleges of India.

Being a government college, NSIT offers core education to its students. College faculty is well experienced and well acknowledged. The infrastructure is a bit dull, nothing like a private college. The placement record is quite good. A number of companies approach for in- campus placement. College life has been unexpectedly vivid.I got to explore my horizons but the enthusiasm was short lived as the pressure to build your career starts to get to you. Apart from this college life is quite enjoyable, a good friend circle brightens your day. Cultural fest season is surely a time to relax and chill out with your friends and to take a break from the hectic lifestyle that we live in.

My college life is interesting as well as boring also because my college has very strict rules. But me and my friends always used to break the strict rules and try to bunk the classes. In my college there is many problems like if we enter in the college then we are not allowed to go out of the college gates before the college hours finish. My branch faculties are very friendly in nature. They always help us in study as well as masti.

I love this college.I had though hoped better because you never get what you think. In my case too things are not like what we expect but they are not bad either. In the end placement is what matters, and that's really good. Talking of infrastructure, that's also ok. Faculty is quite helpful but few guest lecturers don't teach as per planned. Overall I would say this college is great.

The college poses a welcoming environment for all the newcomers. It provides support in almost every field. The seniors are also out mentors and most importantly, the placements are comparable even with the top IITs. The student are given resources to pursue the life they want. There are societies for entrepreneurship, economics, coding algos, etc. The college also promots sports in its own curriculum and has brilliant to okayish teams in many sports. Tours to several sports fests can be expected.

Good Faculties are the best part of the college. They make you feel like school where you can learn anything you want. Seniors who run various societies are also very motivating and helpful. This college is having maximum number of societies that can hel you find your passion and career othet than engineering. The college is good in almost each and every aspect. It is different from normal colleges because here you enjoy while learning.

I do not like the hostels much. The quality of food in dtu is not appreciable is spite of the fact that this college is one of the top institutions in India. The reason is its government based canteens and mess. But college life is very good and smooth.

NSIT, New Delhi is one of India's best-ranked universities (12th) in the overall category. It has an amazing campus with a huge pool of the most talented minds in the country. Before being declared a deemed university, the college was affiliated to Delhi University which adds a lot of value to the degree you will receive. NSIT has the best placement record of all colleges I have seen (Non-IITs) with the top being for its Computer/IT branches with companies like Google, Amazon, Facebook, Adobe, CodeNation, etc. visiting campus every year. Also, various other companies for each of its six branches visit campus giving amazing opportunities with a great salary package. Some top Companies branch wise are: Computer/ IT: Mentioned above Electronics/ Instrumentation: Qualcomm, Texas Instruments, NI, Freescale Semiconductor Manufacturing and Automation: Hero, Maruti, Honda, Schlumberger, Tata Biotechnology: DE Shaw, Biocon In addition to these various companies visit for non-technical profiles which include consultancy, data analytics, marketing, advisory, financial roles etc. Some top companies are: Bain and Co., ZS associates, KPMG, Snapdeal, Barclays, JP Morgan and much more It has one of the best faculty where all senior teachers are Ph.Ds and have written and contributed to various research papers. Teachers are there who have a teaching experience of over 40 years even, and many of them encourage students and help them in various projects and patents. Also, the competition among students compels one to improve themselves and with a wide range of extra-curricular activities, one will not be idle in their college life. There are many societies one can join to improve their skills based on their interests in fields of arts, singing, acting, entrepreneurship, finance, debating etc. There are college fests and regular competitions one can participate in to showcase their skills and add to their interests and profile which come very handy once they appear in their placements. If someone is getting admission here, I suggest you to just go for it because you will have the best 4 years of your life here. There are many opportunities for one to explore if one can make the most of them.

The perks of A-list college

No doubt , the hard work and dedication it requires to get admission in a college like NSIT is surmount. But the fruit it bears is sweeter than anything. This college is everything you ever wanted from a college, in terms of friends who treat you like a family, the teachers who guide you towards brighter future and the placements which put you in the race with the best. The hostel-life is amazing here, and industry level exposure is definite. The campus is so green and huge that first few months go into figuring out class locations and the way back from them. The annual fest, Moksha is the best college fest in Delhi, and if you get into the management team, you will have the time of your lives. The 4 years in this college shape us to be the best version of ourselves.

NSIT is an old institution, it was earlier called Delhi Institute of Technology (DIT), and is situated in Delhi. That gives it an advantage, from alumni, being at prominent positions in the industry and the college being within arms reach of most recruiting organizations. The jobs scene at NSIT is pretty good. As long as you score over 60%, which unfortunately is still the minimum criteria for any organization recruiting from campus pan India, you should land up at least one job with an IT services organization. Having said that, a decent number of coveted recruiters, both core engineering companies like CDOT, Texas Instruments, ST Microelectronics, BHEL etc; and nonengineering companies like Deloitte, JP Morgan, Bain Capability Centre etc visit the campus for placements regularly. Technology companies like Google, Microsoft etc also visit the campus. For an internship, unfortunately, there weren't many avenues, at least during our time, for an internship. Hardly one or two organizations visited campus for internships and its up to the students to look for internships on their own. Most of the students end up interning at a govt organization like MTNL or DRDO without any learning

NSIT is famous for its placements ! Campus comprise of all the facilities including grocery and stationary stores, medical assistance , hostels , food outlets , sports grounds, guest houses , etc . Experienced and helpful faculty . I highly recommend this college for overall personality development as it gives plenty opportunity for industrial exposure and tries things out of the box. The crowd is also the cream layer so the competition is always there and efforts are required to keep up the performance throughout.

Reputation - The college is not very well known outside of the engineering fraternity. It does not carry a reputation that one can flaunt. Having said that, it well known among recruiters and colleges abroad and most engineering students have heard of it. Affiliation with DU barely helps. Campus - The campus spreads over 150 acres and is well maintained. However, it has precious little to offer other than the verdure. It lacks basic infrastructure and facilities that one would expect from one the best engineering colleges in the country. The campus is lacking Wifi, Students Activity Center, basic sports facilities. The hostels are decent, though water supply is a problem. Academics - The college has nothing to offer academically. Professors seldom take an interest, and the curriculum is outdated. The college feels more like a placement agency than an academic institution. Exposure and Student Life- The exposure is mainly because of the college being located in Delhi. The college fests are better than most colleges but cannot compete with the IITs or DU college fests. The crowd in the college is mixed. The college reserves 85% of the seats for residents of Delhi which is a drawback. Most students are day scholars, and the college, therefore, tends to feel like a school. Placements- This is where the college outperforms most other colleges. Placement opportunities are excellent and almost all reputed companies visit the college. It is a great college for any student looking to bag a job at a good company. I must add however that the college admin has recently been overhauled and things are now improving. The curriculum is expected to be revised and the campus is being improved with new departments being set up. Also, the college curriculum is such that one finds ample time to pursue any other interests or ambitions that one might have other than engineering and that major plus.

Excellent ROI and faculty at my institute. Many people don't know about the college because of less marketing. Even placements are not bragged about. On-campus hostel experience is amazing. ROI of this college is very good for which one can prefer this college to other colleges present in the same league. Faculties are highly experienced. One can get good industry exposure by working in so many projects offered to the students.
