IIIT-D has state of art IT tools for communication & computation needs within the institute, supported by fast, reliable & rugged 500+ node computer network. The institute has more than 100 laptops issued to its faculty, staff and students. The institute has 91 printers and scanners to provide printing and other facilities. In order to facilitate proper teaching aid, all classrooms here are equipped with projectors and audio systems. All the hostels, faculty blocks, administrative block, library, classrooms and residences, are connected through redundant 10 gigabit fiber backbone network. All the blocks are connected through layer 2 & 3 switches to provide 1Gbps connectivity at the user end. Every hostel room has a dedicated LAN connection to provide round the clock access to resources on the net. Wireless network with 92 access points is also enabled in the faculty block, library, classrooms and hostel blocks.

New Lecture halls have seating of 600 students. Hostel facilities are great. Air-conditioners are also available in our classrooms. The food quality is average. Medical facilities are also available 24x7 with doctors.

Our teachers are very helpful. There are teaching assistants who help us in our studies. We cannot get good grades if we are not attending the lectures. Our course curriculum is relevant. Few courses are compulsory. Semester exams are not difficult, and the passing percentage is 33%.

All students are placed in good companies. Most of the roles are software engineers. There are also branches like CSB, CSD, etc. Top recruiting companies are Google, Microsoft, Jio, Adobe, Oracle, etc. Almost 70-75% of students got internships in our course. The average salary package offered was 17 LPA.

Our college has a Wi-Fi facility. There is a library facility in college to learn and explore the books. Infrared of the college is excellent and provides the facilities that are required for the students. Food served in canteen is hygienic and tastes good.

Most of the faculty members in our college are holding their PhDs from the foreign university. Curriculum is prepared by the professor which helps the students to gain more knowledge on the course. Technical quiz's and events are conducted in the college.

Placement opportunities provided in pur college is very good. All the technology-based companies offered jobs to students. Starting package offered is 6LPA. Highest package offered is 30LPA. Roles offered are developer, senior trainee engineer, custom Analyst etc...

There are facilities like Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, the library, etc. Facilities were quite satisfactory, which are getting better every year. The hostel is provided based on either double or single occupancy. In hostels, students are provided with a cot, wardrobe, table, chair as basic amenities inside a room. All the faculty are PhD from the top universities across the globe. The faculty are research-oriented, and they are free to decide the course structure and the marking scheme for the course. One can find the top class faculty here. The curriculum is completely industrial based. There are many elective courses provided by the institute.

As I am from the ECE, I don't know much about the CSE placements. All I know is that there are many A+( CTC>10 LPA) companies visiting the campus. For the M.Tech ECE, all the students with VLSI background will for sure be getting an internship for about 6/11 months. It has a high conversion rate and many students get a PPO. The companies visiting the campus are Intel, Qualcomm, NXP etc.

The speed of the internet facility provided for computers of the lab sometimes reaches to around 900 Mbps. The speed of the Wi-Fi facility provided in our college is also excellent compared to other colleges. The food served in the mess is average. Our college also has Bikano, a cafe and a chain point where you can enjoy your food.

All the faculty members here are PhD holders, and most of them are from foreign universities. Their teaching quality is excellent, and they are highly qualified, so there is no need to worry about the study. We do a lot of projects in every computer-related course so that we will become industry-ready.
