Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Manufacturing Processes and Automation Engineering is a four-year (8 Semesters) full-time undergraduate program recognized by AICTE and it is offered by the Netaji Subhas University of Technology, New Delhi.

Programme Educational Objectives (PEOs):

Provide students with a strong foundation in the fundamentals of Mathematics, Science and Engineering to enable them to devise and deliver efficient solutions to challenging problems in the areas of Manufacturing, Automation and Management.
Be receptive to new technologies and attain professional competence through lifelong learning such as advanced degrees, professional registration, publications and other professional activities.
Practice professional ethics consistent with a sense of social responsibility so that they can work as independent individuals as well as a member of the multi-disciplinary teams.
Develop the ability to design and conduct experiments, as well as to organize, analyze and interpret data to produce meaningful conclusions and recommendations to the society.

Eligibility Criteria

The qualifying examination for admission to all the participating Universities / Institutes is any of the following examinations:

Senior School Certificate Examination (12-year course) of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi.
Indian School Certificate Examination (12-year course) of the Council for Indian School Certificate Examination, New Delhi.
Any other examination recognized as equivalent to the Senior School Certificate Examination of the CBSE

Delhi Region Candidates (85% of seats) - A candidate passing the qualifying examination from a recognized School / College /Institute located within the National Capital Territory (NCT) of Delhi will be considered for Delhi Region only.

Outside Delhi Region Candidates (15% of seats) - A candidate passing the qualifying examination from a recognized School / College / Institute located outside the National Capital Territory of Delhi will be considered for Outside Delhi Region only.

Minimum Marks Criterion in Qualifying Examination - A candidate securing 60% or more marks in the aggregate of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, and have passed English as a subject of study at the Senior School Certificate Examination Level (Core or Elective) AND having JEE Main 2018 Rank (Paper 1) shall be eligible for admission to the first semester of B. Tech. / B. E. course provided he/she has passed in each subject separately.

College Infrastructure

Infrastructure is quite good, classes are okayish, love the library and the new constructions. Labs are old and not of much use, the cafe is good, hostels are not but survivable, one cannot really expect much from a government college in terms of infrastructure.

College Infrastructure

The college infrastructure is good and lush with greenery. The college campus includes Administrative block, Electronics Department Block, Mechanical Department Block and Computer Science Department block apart from Library block and New Block. The facilities offered include football field, basket ball courts, cricket ground, race track and tennis courts. The classrooms are well ventilated, however the projectors and speakers are hardly functioning.
