IGDTUW Admission Process 2021
Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women, Delhi, IGDTUW offers B.Tech, B.Arch, M.Tech MCA and PhD programme. Various courses in which B.Tech is offered include computer science and engineering, information technology, mechanical and automation engineering, electronics and communication engineering. Admission to B.Tech and B.Arch courses will be through Joint Admission Counselling (JAC) on the basis of score obtained by the candidates in JEE Main. Candidates who want to seek admission in M.Tech courses have to first qualify Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) afterwards have to apply on the college website. IGDTUW conducts a separate Common Entrance Test for admission to MCA courses. For PhD, programme, candidates have to first qualify UGC-CSIR-JRF/NET/GATE after which they will be eligible to appear in the Research Aptitude Test and interview process conducted by IGDTUW. Admission processes to various processes offered by IGDTUW are listed below:
For Undergraduate Courses (B.Tech/B.Arch):
For B.Tech,
- Candidates should qualify the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main Paper-1).
- Eligible candidates should register for the counselling process at the College website.
- Shortlisted candidates should appear for Joint Admission Counselling Process for the final selection.
For B.Arch,
- Candidates should qualify the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main Paper-2).
- Eligible candidates should register for the counselling process at the College website.
- Shortlisted candidates should appear for Joint Admission Counselling Process for the final selection.
- Final admission will be given after seat allotment, document verification and fee payment.
For Postgraduate Courses (M.Tech/MCA):
For M.Tech,
- Candidates should qualify the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE).
- For admission, candidates have to fill an online application form on the College website.
- Final admission will be offered to the student on the basis of GATE score.
For MCA,
- candidates should qualify the Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted by IGDTUW.
- Further, if seats remain vacant, candidates with valid NIMCET score will be given preferences.
- Final admission will be given after seat allotment, document verification and fee payment.
For Doctoral Courses (PhD):
- Candidates have to fill an online application form for admission to the College.
- Candidates should qualify UGC-CSIR-JRF/NET/GATE exams.
- Eligible candidates have to appear for written test Research Aptitude Test(RAT) followed by an interview.
- Final selection will be done on the basis of candidates performance in test followed by the interview.
IGDTUW View Course Specific Admission Process 2021
Admission to B.Tech. Program will be based on All India Rank prepared by CBSE based on performance of the applicant in Paper-1 of JEE (Main) Examination 2019 and also the applicant must be declared eligible for Central Counselling by the CBSE. The admission to B.Tech. program will be done through Joint Admission Counselling (jointly organized by DTU, NSUT, IIITD & IGDTUW).
