Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology, Delhi provides placement and internship opportunities for students. The highest package offered during IIIT Delhi placements 2024 was Rs 95.15 Lakhs (overseas) and Rs 49.00 Lakhs (domestic). IIIT Delhi average package for IIIT Delhi placements 2024 stood at around Rs 21.57 Lakhs for B.Tech courses, Rs 17.59 Lakhs for M.Tech courses along with an overall average of Rs 20.46 Lakhs.

IIIT Delhi Placement Procedure

Invitations are sent from the IIIT Delhi placement office to various companies or organisations. They are required to fill out the Joint Announcement Form (JAF) specifying their details as well as the date of campus visit.
IIIT Delhi placement office allocates final dates to the recruiting companies for campus visit.
Thereafter, in accordance with their recruitment process, companies visit the campus on the designated date(s) and conduct aptitude tests, interviews, or presentations.
On the day of the campus visit, companies must provide the final list of candidates they have chosen. The hard copy of this list, suitably signed, is delivered to the IIIT Delhi placement cell.
Students may apply for other companies if their name is not present in the final list.The company that announces the results first will determine the ultimate placement status.
Finally, after a candidate is chosen, the employers send the offer letters to the IIIT Delhi placement cell, which then passes them on to the chosen candidates.

My college is the best college and many big companies come in our campus for placements. I completed under graduation so I have many opportunities. Companies like apple, google, microsoft, goldman sachs etc. 70% students were placed in my course with a minimum package is 4.5LPA.

IIIT Delhi has its own placement cell which works constantly towards the well being of students. companies such as Google, Microsoft, Wipro Infotech etc hire students . Average placement last year was 15 lpa. Student intake is also limited.

Considering your focus on good placements and a decent college life, DTU, NSUT, and IIIT Delhi stand out as better choices compared to the newer IIITs (Bhopal, Nagpur, Kota).

If you get CSE or ECE in DTU or NSUT : These should be your top choices due to their strong placement records, vibrant campus life, and established reputation.
IIIT Delhi : Is also an excellent choice, especially if you prefer a research-oriented environment with good placements.

In summary, prioritize DTU and NSUT for their overall advantages in placements and campus life, followed by IIIT Delhi for its strong academic environment and competitive placement stats.

The eligibility criteria is as under:

Pass 10+2 or any equivalent exam with more than 70% (Gen/EWS), 65% (OBC/PwD/CW), or 60% (SC/ST). This criteria has been waived off for 2022.
Valid JEE Main score (through JAC)/ UCEED rank (through IIIT-D admission process)
Must have completed 10+2 from a school in National Capital Territory (NCT) of Delhi (for admission through IIIT-D admission process)
