I don't like the campus, the vibe

      College Infrastructure

If I’m being honest, the infrastructure can be underwhelming. It’s crowded, a bit chaotic, and not very modern. You won’t find fancy classrooms or a campus that impresses at first glance. But after a while, you kind of stop noticing it.

      Academics

This place doesn’t hand things to you ,you have to earn it yourself. Some professors are genuinely brilliant and inspiring, while others barely go beyond the basics. What really shapes you here is your own effort reading case laws, doing internships, and figuring things out on your own.

      Placements

There’s no “placement comfort zone” here. You build your own path—litigation, judiciary, corporate—through networking and internships. It’s tough, but also very real. So most of us purse you higher studies or competitive exam

PhD here is better than MSc its more practical

      College Infrastructure

Same the infrastructure is quite basic and old fashion too labs are functional but not very modern and classrooms don't have advanced facilities it's manageable but if you are expecting top class labs or high tech setups you might feel the absence

      Academics

Academically in PhD it is very strong as compared to MSc students who are enrolled in physics zoology chemistry biotechnology and life sciences are taught in depth faculty members are knowledgeable and the more focus is on practical rather than theoretical understanding only

      Placements

Show the placement opportunities here is very limited unlike professional courses science students don't get many direct placement opportunity we either go for research like I am doing right now or teaching or competitive exam instead of Reliance on campus placement

I would rate it 4 out of 5 realistically

      College Infrastructure

Honestly infrastructure feels quite basic and outdated classrooms are functional but not modern and facilities like washroom and sitting can be overcrowded it lacs the polished campus field of private law College but it's manageable if you focus on studies

      Academics

If you think from the perspective of academics and course . Academically it's very strong the syllabus is comprehensive and many professors are experienced how ever teaching quality can be inconsistent some teachers are excellent while others relay heavily on self study

      Placements

Placements are not structure like NLUs. There isn't a strong centralised placement system so most students rely on internship networking and personal efforts that said student do land good roles in litigation corporate firms

Best campus life, typical du vibe .

      College Infrastructure

Our faculty of arts has a typical Delhi University vibe we do have the top infrastructure one good imagine with a central library labs and sports facilities the campus is spacious rooms are well furnished

      Academics

Academically faculty of arts is very strong offering diverse courses in arts and professional related views the curriculum is regularly updated under an EP guidelines and faculty are highly experienced

      Placements

Placement opportunity here actually depends upon the course you have chosen mostly placements are offer to domains related to commerce. Aur do the average package here is rupees 8 to 25 lakh per annum it depends upon the internship and skill that you have

I am having a great experience here

      College Infrastructure

Core facilities like classrooms, library, labs, and a big ground exist. New college building is constructed and looks good — but still not open for use in many departments, frustrating current students. Some areas are well-maintained and clean.

      Academics

Overall academic quality and teaching are rated above average to good by many students. Faculty in Commerce, Arts, and Life Sciences are generally described as knowledgeable, supportive and approachable. Lectures and curriculum are generally structured with NEP-aligned subjects and relevant material.

      Placements

Placement support is limited — not a strong placement hub compared to flagship DU colleges. Some students report low placement percentages, modest internship opportunities, and average packages around 3–6 LPA. A few isolated reports claim higher packages (10-15 LPA+) for select students/streams, but these are exceptions and not representative. Placement quality heavily depends on your course, skills, and networking rather than institutional cell strength

      Value for Money

Very reasonable fees typical of DU government colleges — worth it if you’re looking for quality education on a tight budget. Students often cite value coming from faculty, location and degree recognition, despite infrastructure shortcomings

      Campus Life

Positives Centrally located in New Delhi, easy metro access (New Delhi station). Some societies, cultural events and sports do happen — experiences vary by involvement. Challenges Campus activities and fests are reported as fewer or limited compared with other DU colleges. Some students mention mixed crowd experiences and a political vibe on campus — again subjective.

      College Infrastructure

Infrastructure of college is quite decent. Irt has all the necessary facilities. There are multiple college under University of delhi. The one I studied in has Smart Classroom, AC lecture rooms, Wifi in all class room. Everything was well maintained and Hygienic and clean. Hostel spacwes were limited and students relied on PGs.

      Academics

I did Bachelors in commerce Undergrad Program. The qualtiy of teaching was excellent, teachers and professors had Industry experience of no less than 7-8 years . The Curriculum was not updated that much but it included all the current and traditional knowlede that was required I do think the Study make us jod ready in this college.

      Placements

Placement quality was good and close 60% went for placemnt and others went for higher education in our college highest package was 7.5 lakhs and average was around 3-4 lakhs for b com course. placement process was ok, it was easyh for most of us some struggled. college was supportive for placements

      Value for Money

      College Infrastructure

My Collage infrastructure was good but need modernization at that time. They have laboratories with all kind of equipment needed in my course. There was a attractive zoological museum. Hygiene and cleanliness was average

      Academics

My course was Bsc from zoology. The quality of teaching was very good there. Teachers was supportive. The curriculum was updated includes newly syllabus. My studies from there surely makes me knowledgeable and helps me in future for teaching.

      Placements

Placement opportunities was not much as students prefer higher studies after the bsc . It was quite limited . Direct campus placement was not common at that time. My friend go higher studies after it . For other courses there was better placement.

      Value for Money

The fees was affordable at that time for me. It was worthy for me as I am able to apply my knowledge gain from the college and course. We have access of high facilities with low fees

      Campus Life

My campus life was good as there was many competitions, activities, events, fests etc. There was too many things to boost our skills such as sports , photography, drama , music etc. It's location was safe as students can handle the emergencies. Teachers and staff was supportive. Some modernization there was needed as classrooms was not proper .

      Others

Overall my experience was good there. Many upr and downs there gave me path in my life.

      College Infrastructure

College campus is really awesome it has some of the most greatest amenities provided in the campus and they provide all type of basic facilities such as canteen auditoriums well developed labs and they have all the important equipments needed for the growth of student

      Academics

Talking about academics this is one of the most reputed college to start your career and teachers are really great in teaching as all the syllabus and curriculum is updated on recent research and developments makes student to learn so many new innovative things

      Placements

Talking about placement so last year almost 75% student got placed from our college campus very easily and they have been selected in different companies with an average packet starting from 5.5 lakh rupees going highest up to 30 lakh per year

Being around good folks matters, they'll help you through it

      College Infrastructure

The infrastructure is fairly fine. The campus is beautiful but the facilities can do with a little work on them. The starting years of my college, I noticed clogged and dirty washrooms, broken desks with nails coning out of a few. They have started working on a few amenities like pad vending machines, new desks, cleaner, better functioning washrooms.

      Academics

I studied psychology as a major and english literature as a minor subject. The teachers put in effort but the some methods are outdated and is difficult to understand. Reading off of PPTs or old notes is still common. The assignment and projects help understanding of the subject better. There is no practical exposure though.

      Placements

For 3 years, I didn't even know we had a placement cell. The only way I found out was when they asked me to be featured on the college website for placement cell. I hve not seen it work yet. The students mostly have to get internships by themselves or through a gew kind professors. And even if we get internships, it is seen as dissociated from our studies. So we basically have to chose between theory classes in college or practical exposure through internships.

      Value for Money

The fees is to be paid annually. And is minimal. I think the college could put more effort considering how much students represent it on a huge stage. But I don't think there's anything to complain about. Everyone disses their own college. :)

      Campus Life

The college campus is good. One can hangout with friends in canteen or garden. We can play games like volleyball, cricket, kho kho, kabaddi. There's many societies for extra curricular activities. The college is not in the safest of locations. But there is a police station and metro station nearby. The various staff of college feels like they are no there to support students. But instead restrict them. If a student was in problem, they would most likely ask help from other students than the teachers or other staff.
