Course overview
In the modern world, the increasing demand for computer technology has led to increased usage and up-gradation in cloud computing. The ease of access to data and applications from any place, cost-saving, and low maintenance cost and efforts are some of the benefits of cloud computing.
A service designed by Microsoft called Microsoft Azure delivers cloud computing services to generate and control the applications by making the use of the cloud environment. Azure manages the provision of services like infrastructure as a service (Iaas), platform as a service (PaaS), software as a service (SaaS). It acts as a platform by supporting various frameworks and programming languages. It can be utilised as a stand-alone platform or in multi-vendor form of the cloud environment. Due to greater availability and resilience of the Azure environment, data backup in the cloud storage can be easily done.
The course Azure Infrastructure Fundamentals programme mainly focuses on the basics of Azure infrastructure and related services. The programme will also provide a deep understanding of security configuration, subscription, and storage acquisition. It will also provide exposure to create VNETS and virtual machines.

How it helps
Cloud computing has provided tremendous benefit to the organisation by increasing the efficiency of business operations. Cloud computing provides ease of access to data and applications from any corner of the world with a device and internet connection. Furthermore, cloud computing also provides security, cost-saving and data backup and restoration quickly and reliably. Over and above, cloud computing also provides flexibility and scalability. Azure provides cloud computing services to manage and create applications in the cloud environment.
In the Azure Infrastructure Fundamentals course, the participant will get an insight to subscriptions of Azure, creating resource groups, explore the structure of permissions required to secure the resources in Azure, creation of alerts, and using Log Analytics to analyse the data. The entrants will also get a chance to conduct various lab activities. They will also get an idea, how to use the policy of Azure in order to prevent the sprawl of the project and thereby keep the Azure environment protected. They would also understand various types of storage in Azure as well as securing the storage. Also, the knowledge about the configuration of virtual networks and working of virtual machines will be provided in the course.
