In Karnataka, many government medical colleges offer MBBS seats under the defence quota through KEA counselling. If your parent is in the defence services or has retired from it, and you are from Karnataka or meet the KEA's eligibility rules, you can apply under the defence quota.
The defence quota usually gives 10% reservation in government medical colleges. You must appear for NEET and apply through KEA counselling. If your NEET rank is within the eligible range, and you apply correctly with all documents like your parent's defence certificate and domicile certificate, you can get a seat in good colleges.
Colleges like Bangalore Medical College, Mysore Medical College, Mandya Medical College, Belgaum Medical College, and others offer defence quota seats.
