The Malwanchal University, Indore was established in the year 2016 is a State Private University located in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. Situated on a 100 acres land, the university allows a student to study from a pool of 87 subjects in 28 programmes. The university has a total number of students enroled as 754 and faculty members as 287 which makes conducive environment for academic development. 

Malwanchal University has all the modern infrastructural facilities to facilitate student learning and personal development. These include spacious and addock boys and girls hostels with both air conditioned and non-air conditioned rooms, school water treatment plants through reverse osmosis, and clean school kitchens. A fully equipped gym, rich collection of books and periodicals in the college library, and over all computerisation with internet facilities. Sports lovers can also try and make use of the well established sports facility that includes indoor and outdoor activities. Malwanchal University provides full spectrum of profiles for students, as full-time, part-time, and distance learning programmes. It offers eighty five programmes at different levels of study ranging from undergraduate level to doctoral level. Among them basic medical programme MBBS, homoeopathic medicine and surgery-BHMS, ayurvedic and Indian medical system-BAMS, bidding pharmaceuticals-B.Pharma and a number of post graduate medical courses. 

Unlike other institutions, Malwanchal University has offered different ways of admitting students based on the programme they want to undertake. Admissions to the medical courses like MBBS and BAMS are done centrally as per the NEET scores produced by the candidate.
