want to know about MHCET Jee mains students counselling

Nitin Kumar 19th Jun, 2024

You can participate in MHT CET Counselling for admission into engineering colleges in Maharashtra if you:

  • Appeared for and qualified in JEE Main 2024.
  • Are a resident of Maharashtra or any other state in India. (There are a specific number of seats reserved for Maharashtra state and MHT CET qualified candidates though).

The MHT CET Counselling for JEE Main scores is typically conducted online by the State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra (SCET Cell).

The online registration window usually opens in the last week of June (expected in the last week of June 2024 for the 2024 admissions). You'll need to register on the official website of SCET Cell and provide details like your JEE Main roll number, score, and other required information.

After registration, there will be a document verification process where you'll need to upload scanned copies of your documents (e.g., JEE Main scorecard, admit card, class 10th and 12th mark sheets, domicile certificate, etc.) online.

During this stage, you can choose the engineering colleges and programs you are interested in based on your JEE Main score, seat availability, and preferences. You need to lock your choices by a specific deadline.

Based on your JEE Main score, preferences, and available seats, the SCET Cell will allot seats through multiple rounds of counselling.

If you are allotted a seat in a desired college, you'll need to pay the admission fees, report to the college for document verification, and complete the admission formalities.

I have a doubt that now i have taken biomaths in state board syllabus but i am little poor in math and after 12th can I take IT course ?will it be moderate or different?

Nitin Kumar 19th Jun, 2024

You can definitely consider taking an IT course after your 12th standard even though you opted for bio-maths in the state board syllabus and might feel less confident in math.

While IT courses do involve some mathematics, the level and focus are generally different from what you encounter in higher-level math subjects like calculus or linear algebra (which might be less relevant in IT).

IT courses emphasize problem-solving skills and logical thinking, which you might have already developed through your bio-maths studies.

You encounter new concepts in any IT course, but your ability to learn and adapt is crucial. Some colleges might offer bridge courses to help students with a bio-maths background transition to IT subjects. IT is a vast field, and you can choose specific areas that require less intensive math, such as web development, graphic design, or user interface (UI) / user experience (UX) design.

There are many online resources, tutorials, and introductory courses that can help you build a basic foundation in programming languages commonly used in IT.Online communities and forums dedicated to IT can provide valuable support and answer your questions as you learn. If you are planning to pursue IT, starting some basic learning early (during your 12th standard or gap year) can help you feel more prepared for the IT course curriculum.

The difficulty depends on the specific IT course you choose and your existing computer skills. However, with dedication and a willingness to learn, you can bridge the gap in math background and succeed in your IT program.

Can Management Quota available in GOVT.ENGINEERING COLLEGE.?

Nitin Kumar 19th Jun, 2024

No, government engineering colleges in India typically  don't have management quota seats.  Management quota seats are offered by private engineering colleges, not government institutions.

Seats in government engineering colleges are primarily filled through entrance exams like JEE Main or state-level engineering entrance exams. Admissions are based on your score in these exams

A certain percentage of seats might be reserved for categories like Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Other Backward Classes (OBC), and Persons with Disabilities (PWD) based on government regulations.

Private engineering colleges have more autonomy in allocating seats. They might reserve a specific percentage of seats (usually around 15%) for the management quota. These seats are filled based on criteria determined by the college management, which could include factors like marks in class 12th, donations, or an entrance exam conducted by the college itself.

Where can I get NCCS MSc Biotechnology application form?

Nitin Kumar 19th Jun, 2024

The National Centre for Cell Science (NCCS) seems to offer admission for M.Sc. Biotechnology through a project training program, not a traditional application form process.

NCCS offers a project training program for students interested in pursuing research in biological sciences. This program lasts for 6 months to 1 year and might involve coursework and research projects. You can find details about this program on the NCCS website

Manisha 19th Jun, 2024

Hello aspirant

303 I a moderate score  , with this score whether your daughter will get bams seat or not depends upon neet cut off . Cut off changes every year.  It depends upon certain factors like Number of students appeared in exam,  Toughness level of exam,  seat intake and previous year's cut off etc.

This year's cut off is high . The qualifying marks of neet 2024 are

General category- 50th percentile,  720 - 164

Sc/ST/OBC - 40th percentile 163 - 129

For general PH - 163 - 146

You haven't mentioned your category , So for sc ,st and obc there is opportunity

You may try in following colleges of karnataka

Manisha 19th Jun, 2024

Hello aspirant

You haven't mentioned your category to which you belong.

If you belong to general category  then sorry to say wirh 131 marks in Neet you won't get medical seat .

See the  admission to medical colleges depends upon cut off and certain factors including number of students appeared in exam,  Toughness level of exam and previous year's cut off  etc .

Now this year's cut off is high ( as cut off keeps changing every year )

Cut off neet 2024 for general category candidate is 50th percentile  ie 720- 164

For sc/st/obc - 163 -129

Nitin Kumar 18th Jun, 2024

The application window for NIOS admission to appear for the October 2024 exams is still open.

Fill out the application form meticulously, including all personal details, educational background, and the subjects you wish to take.

The deadline to apply without a late fee is usually around July 6th. However, it's crucial to double-check the official NIOS website for any updates regarding the exact date.

  • Scanned copy of your Class VIII passing certificate (for Secondary Course) or Class X passing certificate (for Senior Secondary Course) attested by a gazetted officer.
  • Passport-sized photograph
  • If you don't have the attested certificate, a self-declaration can be submitted.

Pay the application fee (around Rs. 300 per subject) and any additional fees for subjects with practicals. The fee structure is available on the NIOS website:

can I write an email to the cet cell for reevaluation

Nitin Kumar 18th Jun, 2024

It's possible the CET cell you are referring to might not accept reevaluation requests for their exams.

Many CET exams only allow challenging answer keys before results are announced, not requesting re-evaluation of your own answers. It is wise to check the official CET cell website or information bulletin for their policy on
reevaluation.

I hope it helps!
