after ssb interview what happens
Hello aspirant,
Hope you are doing well,
If you have cleared the SSB interview then you need to appear for medical test. There would be test like urine test, ear and eye tests and many other. If anything they found that can be treated then you would be given temporary rejection. You would be given time of 40 days. After 40 days you will have to report Defence hospital New Delhi. In case they found something like flat feet, knocking knees, sweaty palms then it will cause your permanent rejection .In that case you can never join defence in future. Fortunately if you successfully cleared medical test. Then they will release merit list. Once your name comes in merit list .That's it, you would receive a call letter to join academy.
Hope this information helps,
Best of luck
The authorities do not release the scores or ranking. All it would be announced is that you have been recommended for selection to the relevant course or branch, so on and so forth. There are 2 things that might happen after the interview. If you are not selected, there might not be any communication further. But on the other hand, if you have been recommended, you will have to go through a Medical Check up that includes, Blood and urine samples, X-Ray, ECG, etc. You are not treated for any illnesss that you have. You are only observed and checked to see if you are fit for the job which has certain standards that have been specified. This might take 2-5 days and the report might vary from Fit to Fit with limitations to unfilt. If you have been declared unfilt, you can appeal the medical test. And in case the 2nd medical test also shows as unfit, your name is taken off the recommended list. And once the medical test has come fit or fit with limitations, they will anounce a merit list. If your name is in the merit list, you will receive a call letter to join the Academy.
