Hi, if I score around 50 marks in NEET will I get a private medical college ?
Hello,
Hope you are doing great.
Answering to your question,
Scoring around 50 marks in NEET may not guarantee admission to a private medical college, as admission criteria typically include cutoff marks that vary each year. Private medical colleges often have higher cutoffs due to competition. It's advisable to research the cutoff trends of previous years and consult with admission authorities for accurate information regarding your chances of securing a seat. Additionally, exploring alternative options or retaking the exam to improve your score could enhance your chances of admission.

I think any private college takes admission in basis of NEET. If you are willing to take admission in private college might you have to pay a huge amount as a donation. It is better take a drop and work hard if you have chance.
Hii There,
The expected minimum marks required in NEET 2024 for MBBS admission in private colleges are around 50% for General category, 45% for Persons with Disability, and 40% for ST/SC/OBC categories.

Scoring less doesn't means the end of the world. For those who score low in NEET or are unable to qualify, there are alternative career options in medical courses. These include professions like phlebotomists, medical lab technologists, nutritionists, physician assistants, and others. Candidates can explore these options to pursue a career in the medical field without NEET.

Hello aspirant,
You won't be able to secure admission in any medical or dental college, whether government or private, with 52 marks. This is due to the requirement of qualifying the NEET examination, which is necessary for admission in MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BHMS, etc., even for management quota seats in private colleges. However, with your percentile, you haven't met the NEET qualifying criteria, as the qualifying percentile for the general category is 50.
Thank you
Hope this information helps you.
