Computer science engineering:
General category home state: 2734 - 5338
General category other states: 1185 - 5262
OBC category home State: 1256 - 2996
OBC category other states: 1566 - 1811.

Dear student,
If you want a sure seat in cse branch of svnit surat, then you have to score at least above 99.6 percentile. That means your rank must be under 5000 from general category from other state quota ( i have assumed you a general category, as you haven't mentioned any ).
And therefore for securing a rank of under 5000 you must secure marks atleast above 180 in jee mains.
