i scored 427 in NEET 2025 and my rank is around 1.60 L . Can i get admission in ACMS delhi? I am a resident of delhi and belong to SC Category. If not are there any other good medical colleges i can get?

ACMS  generally has high cut-offs and mostly seats are reserved for children of Army personnel. Even with SC reservation, 427 marks (AIR ~1.6 lakh) is quite low for ACMS, so chances are very slim.

The main reason is that almost 80% seats in ACMS are reserved for wards of Army personnel, and the remaining seats for Delhi SC category also close at a much higher rank. For Delhi government colleges like MAMC, UCMS and LHMC, the SC cutoff generally stays above 550 marks, so 427 won’t be enough there either.

But don’t lose hope. With this score and SC category, you still have chances in private medical colleges in Delhi NCR or other states. You should also try for state quota seats outside Delhi, where the SC cutoff sometimes goes lower than in Delhi. Apart from MBBS, you can also keep BDS and AYUSH courses (like BHMS, BAMS) as backup options. Many students go through this route and later attempt NEET again if they aim for a government MBBS seat.

My suggestion: Take part in all rounds of counselling (AIQ + state quota + mop-up), because seats do open up in later rounds and SC candidates can get opportunities.
