Army College of Medical Science is also known as ACMS and was established in the year 2008. Raksha Mantri Shri George Fernandes laid the foundation stone of the medical in the year 2004. It was inaugurated by Raksha Mantri Shri AK Antony on January 5, 2009. ACMS is currently ranked 29th Medical College in the Country.
This institution is a Medical Council of India recognized college, under the aegis of Army Welfare Education Society. It is a premier medical college in India. Students graduating from ACMS get the opportunity to join the Indian Army and serve the country as doctors. ACMS is affiliated with Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, New Delhi.
Delhi offers 1 course across 1 stream namely Medical and across 1 degree which is, MBBS. ACMS Delhi campus is spread over 25 Acres. Apart from Hostel facilities being available for its students. Additional campus facilities such as, Canteen, Sports, Grounds, WiFi, TV room, Badminton Court, Volleyball Ground are also there.

So with regard to your query, the army personnel certificate is asked for the purpose of reservation and also for age relaxation. It is generally produced by the army personnel or retired army personnel or released army personnel.

In Army College of Medical Science, Delhi there are 100 seats out of which 4 seats are alloted for widows/ wards of defence personnel, 78 seats for Army personnel, 2 seats for AISC, one seat for AIST, 14 seats for DSC and one seat for DST.

In Army College of Medical Science, Delhi there are 100 seats out of which 4 seats are alloted for widows/ wards of defence personnel, 78 seats for Army personnel, 2 seats for AISC, one seat for AIST, 14 seats for DSC and one seat for DST.
MBBS course is offered by Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, New Delhi. MBBS in this College is a 5.5 years full-time course which includes 1 year of intership. Course fees is Rs. 18.64 Lakhs.
Candidates must have passed with minimum 55 percentage in 10+2 or equivalent exam with subjects like Chemistry and Physics from a recognised Board or University.
