Hello there. Hope you are doing good. I would like to tell you that both the colleges are situated in South India. You will not face much language problem while you are in the college as the medium of instructions in these colleges is English only. However, you might face language problem while placements only in the companies which requires communication skills in local language. Such companies gives preference to students who are comfortable in local language. Other than that, you will not face much problem.

I hope you found this answer helpful. Good luck for your future.

I suggest you to go for NIT Trichy as it is one of the top NIT'S which is equally comparable to IIT'S and to choose ECE branch will be better for your future. If i say in terms of placements you will get easily with good amount of effort. But overall professors are nice and whether you are in any college professors are only guide you what matters is you self study to prepare yourself for the industry.

Ocean engineering and naval architect i don't think there is much scope even in IIT'S. IF You have other options like already you have NIT Trichy ECE go for that. it will surely help you in future!

best of luck!

Hello

Iit jodhpur is much better in terms of placement in comparing with nit trichy Average salary package offer in iit jodhpur is around 15 to 17 lpa while in nit trichy Averagesalary package offer is 9 lpa.

Faculty is good in both the college since both have good ranking and recognition.

Facilities available in nit trichy is more than in iit jodhpur .

Feel free to ask

Good Luck...

Hello aspirant,

Hope you are doing well.

As per your question, basic way to compare any college is by comparing their placements and infrastructure. We can also compare teaching facility but in IITs and nits they have well qualified professors. So as per these comparisons:-

1) IIT dhanbad :-

They have an average CTC package of 15.5LPA and highest placement package of 39 LPA. Although they have good infrastructure as well.

2) IIT indore:-

They have an average CTC package of 9LPA and highest package of 50LPA . They too had good infrastructure.

3) NIT trichy:-

They have an average CTC package of around 9LPA . As also NIT trichy is among top most ranked nits in India . So in terms of NIT, NIT trichy have good ranking among all the nits.

So as per this comparison and as per my opinion , as per placement wise you should go with IIT dhanbad as they have good average CTC package. But all these colleges are good so you can choose according to your convenience also.

Hope this information helps you out. Thank you.

Feel free to ask any kind of query here.

In each NIT there is a option to change branch. But change of branch depends upon following criteria.

  1. Whether there is any seat available in your preferred branch or not.
  2. You need to be the topper of your batch as there will be counselling as per CGPA achieved in 1st year.

Hope you get the idea of upgradation of branch. All the best.

Hello Aspirant,

As per the current scenario and future scope in india CSE is always the best option on any other engineering branch. India is developing country and know due to current scenario in which Chinese app are ban then more and more other Indian apps came which ultimately increases the opportunities and growth in computer science sector .

There is also a planning going on making India's own playstore. So, you can understand how much growth is there.

Now talking about Chemical Engineering it's has scope but outside India. In India, there is not much scope and there is very less growth .

Now talking about College, NIT Jalandhar is also a prestigious institute to do Btech.

Hello, both are good branches as placements in these branches are not like as placements in Cs/It branches but if you work hard you can get a good placement.

I would recommend you to go with production engineering of Nit Trichy as production engineering is a part of mechanical engineering and it's placement are also good.

Metallurgy is also a good option but production engineering branch has a good scope and there is a need of production Engineers in industry.

All the best.
Hope this will help you.

Hello student.

ou are intrested in coding. But these two branches are way too different from coding. And these two branches are different from each other too. So, I suggest you to think about it.

In answer to your question, When it comes to university wise. Both of them are really good. Here are few fctors to consider both of them:

Infrastructure and college life:

Both have a good infrastructure with well equipped labs and classrooms. Hostels are pretty decent and nice environment is always maintained. You can see that the campus life is going to be really well. College life is good with the right kind of atmosphere given to the students who come from different places.

Fac ulty and quality of education:

All the faculties are qualified and experienced over here. And education, curriculum is made in such a way that students are made to acquire more hands on knowledge than just the theory. It is not just the books and classes. Focuses more on practical knowledge than the theoretical one. Education quality and the way guidance is given is really good.

Placements:

Placements are  good as good companies visit these colleges. students gets placed and opportunities of internship is provided to the students from companies.

But placements wise in that branch, chemical, NIT warangal is better than the other

Hi there!

It all depends upon your interest as both the institutes are good.

If you are interested in research, metallurgy is a good option. There is good work going on in the field of materials science and engineering abroad. You can diversify to research in materials having applications in electronics, automobiles, power sector or medical sector. You can also work as an engineer in automotive, power sector, steel industries or any metal extraction industry.
If you're not keen on research and you're interested to figure as a plant manager in various industries, chemical engineering is best option in NIT Warangal. There are some common subjects in production engineering and mechanical engineering.
If you are interested to work in government organizations, you have to just check with recent advertisements. Many government organizations have openings for engineering and metallurgical engineering. For those you can't apply with production engineering background. However, You will not face any such problem with private sector.
A few years back, there was no GATE examination for production engineering. The students had to seem in engineering examination. I don't know if this has changed now.
In NIT Trichy all branches are equally good. Lot of companies recruit students. So, if you're looking from that aspect, both branches are fine. There are many co-curricular and additional curricular activities which you'll not only enjoy and learn tons about life generally but also strengthen your resume.
