The 3D Video Game Development in Unity: An Introduction programme will teach the candidates to build a 3D game prototype by helping them explore the required 3D game development concepts and tools available in Unity and on the web. 1: Do I have to pay for enrollment?

This is an open access course. Any candidate can register and access the contents without paying. During the registration candidates can select the choices which are just auditing it, in which case they will have free access to the course content; or getting a certificate, in which the candidates will have to take some additional mandatory evaluations identity verification.

2: How is the payment to be done?

If the conditions for obtaining the certificate have been met, candidates must pay directly to Coursera. Coursera currently only allows foreign credit card payments. New alternatives will soon be activated. In case candidates don’t have an International Credit Card, they can request financial assistance directly from the platform by using the option "Learn more and apply" in the section "Financial Aid" given under the Enrolment button. Then candidates will have to complete a very simple application there.

3: Is there any scholarship available?

Coursera provides financial support to candidates who are not in a position to pay the fees. The procedure for receiving financial aid will be reviewed. Coursera will inform the candidate if he/she is eligible for that. Applicants must obey these steps in each course in the specialisation.

4: When will the course begin?

The starting date of each of the course sessions is announced on Coursera website/application and the registration can be done as soon as the course is announced. In case the new session takes a while to start, candidates will have access to the content of the first week of the course and once it starts they will have access to the rest of the materials.

5: By whom the certificate is issued?

The certificate of participation is issued directly by Coursera. Participants can purchase it as long as they meet the requirements which are,

  • Identity verification when presenting the mandatory evaluations, 
  • Achieve the minimum percentage to pass the evaluation.
  • Pay the price announced on Coursera.
