Government First Grade College of Arts Science and Commerce, Sira Admission Process

Government First Grade College of Arts and Commerce, has emerged as an esteemed institution in Jyoti Nagar, Tumukuru District, Karnataka. Bachelor of Arts (BA): It has different varieties of programs in BA by difference combinations in subjects aa BA Optional English, Journalism and Optional Kannada; BA Optional English, Political Science and Sociology; BA History, Economics and Political Science; BA History, Economics and Sociology; BA History, Economics and Optional Kannada; BA Political Science, Sociology and Optional Kannada. Admission to the BA program will be dependent on the marks received in the 10+2 examination with an importance on the subjects relevant to the particular combination of the chosen combination.

Bachelor of Science (B.Sc): Various B.Sc programs are available in college, such as Chemistry, Botany and Zoology; Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics; Chemistry, Botany and Environmental Science; Chemistry, Zoology and Environmental Science; and Physics, Mathematics and Computer Science. Admission to these courses usually demands a very good foundation in all types of subjects at the 10+2 level, more specifically with respect to the core subjects of the particular combination.

Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com): Admission to the B.Com program is generally reserved for candidates who have completed their 10+2 with Commerce or related subjects. Selection is made on the basis of the marks secured in the qualifying examination, with special consideration for performance in subjects related to commerce.

Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA): Overall academic performance at the 10+2 level serves as the basis for admission into the BBA program, as far as business studies subjects are available in the applicant's educational profile.

Bachelor of Social Work (BSW): The college based its admission for BSW to the marks obtained in the 10+2 examination, with preference for students who have taken some social science or related subjects.

MA in History: admissions to the subject generally depend on academic performance in bachelor's degree, preferably in history or relevant subject, besides an entrance test or interview organized by the college. 

Master of Commerce (M.Com): B.Com graduates or its equivalent are eligible to apply for the M.Com program. The admission process may consider marks in the bachelor degree and there may be an entrance test or interview.
