college infrastructure is good and attractive, a positive feeling is going to come when we enter the college. we have a large class rooms where upto 80-90 students can sit laboratories are also good. library is very well organized
im studying in civil engineering, teachers also teaches us in a good manner they clears our doubts. we got a new cantene in college and the also been changed and tender for food have also been updated
placements are good but for civil only limited companies are going to come hence placements have to be improved. in our civil also the students strength also been increased for my junior batch,my college is also supportive. i personally went to tamilnadu on a central government project for that i got a major support from my civil department.
i got seat through kcet so my course fee is 110000 rupees. yes at a certain level i feel its worth
my campus life is good. many clubs are there where students can engage and show case there talents. teachers are also very supportive. many nearby emergency centers are there so can be handled in all situations.
it's a good college with a great history so i feel lucky that im studying in this college
As an EEE day scholar in my third year at RNSIT, Bengaluru, I've got a real feel for this college. Commuting daily from nearby keeps costs low, and the campus hustle suits my routine perfectly. Infrastructure Review RNSIT's campus feels like a breath of fresh air—sprawling green spaces with trees everywhere, making those long lab days bearable. Classrooms are spacious and airy, with projectors that actually work for lectures, unlike some colleges where tech fails mid-class. EEE labs are solid, packed with transformers, motors, and CROs for power systems experiments; our department has about 150 computers with MATLAB and simulation software, plus reliable WiFi for reports. Hostels look clean from visits, but as a day scholar, I love the canteen's quick bites and the gym for post-class workouts. Seminar halls host cool workshops, and the library's got plenty of power electronics books. Only gripe? Roads to campus get jammed during peak hours. Overall, top-notch setup that supports learning without distractions—easily 4.5/5 for infra.
EEE academics here push you hard but fairly—profs know their stuff, many with industry experience from BHEL or BESCOM, explaining concepts like electrical machines with real-world examples. Curriculum's VTU-standard but practical: we dive into MATLAB simulations, PLC programming, and renewable energy projects early on. Classes use smart boards, and internals mix quizzes with mini-projects—no pure mugging up. Electives like smart grids and EV tech keep it relevant; guest lectures from alumni at Siemens add value. Labs reinforce theory—I've built actual motor controls. Downsides? Some theory papers are lengthy, and semesters peak with back-to-back exams. Remedials help if you're slipping, and seniors mentor on tough topics. As a day scholar, attending all sessions is key since I miss hostel group studies. Solid foundation for jobs or MTech—4/5 from me.
Placements for EEE day scholars like me are promising if you skill up—last year, 75% of our branch got offers, mostly core firms like Schneider, L&T, and JSW alongside IT giants like TCS. Average package hovered at 4.5-5 LPA, with top ones hitting 12-15 LPA for switchgear roles. Placement cell starts prep in 5th sem: aptitude training, GDs, and mock interviews tailored for core jobs. EEE shines in off-campus too—my classmate cracked Adani Green via LinkedIn projects. Companies test basics like circuits and power systems; they love our hands-on lab exposure. As a day scholar, I hustle more for resume reviews, but workshops are open to all. Not FAANG-level, mass recruiters dominate, but ROI's great with low fees. Tip: Do internships early—many convert to PPOs. Grateful for the opportunities; 4/5 stars.
For an EEE day scholar on COMEDK seat, RNSIT's a steal—I'm paying about 1.8L per year, no hostel costs since I commute by bus (saves 1L+ annually). Total for four years? Under 8L, including books and fests. Compare that to private colleges charging 10L+ for similar placements—you get quality labs, updated curriculum, and 80% placement rates without burning cash. Extras like certifications (free via EDC cell) and industry visits boost resumes at no added cost. Sure, management quota hurts at 6-8L/year, but scholarships for merit/KCET make it accessible. Canteen meals at 50 bucks keep daily spends low. Downsides? No fancy AC classrooms, but value trumps luxury. Grads land stable jobs quick, paying off fees in 1-2 years. As a middle-class day scholar, it's transformed my future—absolute 4.5/5 value.
Campus life as an EEE day scholar is balanced chaos—fun without the hostel drama. I roll in for 8:30 AM classes, hit labs till noon, then canteen chai with branch mates planning projects. Fests like Pantheon bring DJ nights, tech quizzes, and EEE-specific robo-wars; Parichay's cultural explosion every two years has us dancing at amphitheater. Clubs? I'm in the energy club for solar car builds and NSS for community drives—great for resume and friends. Sports fields buzz post-4 PM: volleyball, kabaddi tournaments keep me fit before heading home. Canteen's vibe is peak—gossip over ghee dosa. No ragging, profs are chill for doubts via WhatsApp. Traffic home sucks some days, but evening temple visits or gym sessions recharge me. Diverse crowd from day scholars like me and hostellers mixes well. Miss late-night preps sometimes, but it's wholesome and motivating—4.5/5 easy.
RNSIT stands out thanks to its EEE department's IEEE PES SBC winning the Best Emerging Student Branch Award! Kudos to the students and faculty for their solid work in power electronics. Great for engineering students wanting real-world skills and IEEE recognition.

College is having the nessasary infrastructure but its not really amazing. Wifi and other basic facilities are only there but nothing extra addon like amazing campus is not there Although they are trying to build new buildings.
Academics are descent enough. Teachers are qualified enough and teaches good. I am studying CSE so in my branch teachers are understanding and they focuses on building the conceptual understanding.
Quality is descent as compared to other tier 3 colleges. I am a second year grand hence i dont have a lot of idea about placement percentages But this year ig the highest package was around 21 LPA and mostly we listen about packages around 6 or 8lpa
Per year my course costs around 3 lakhs as academic fees and around 1.5 lakhs as hostel fees For college i think its okay, but for hostel, i think they are charging a lot. Fees before 2 years was just 1lakhs and they increased it to 1.5 in just 2 years
Its descent enough only. The campus is not very big, hence very less hangout spots. And ultimately less chill
