Eligibility Criteria

Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies. Obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together. OR Passed Diploma (in Engineering and Technology) examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) subject to vacancies in the First Year, in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted.

Admission Details

The Government of Karnataka conducts Common Entrance Test (CET) for admission into various professional courses for students of Karnataka. The CET is generally conducted during April / May and the notification will appear in all leading newspapers. RNSIT is in the list of top most engineering colleges in Karnataka.
A merit list will be prepared based on the combined performance in PUC/XII Std. and CET.
Seat matrix is announced indicating seats available in different colleges in different branches based on the sanctioned intake.
Admissions are made according to merit, subject to reservations to various categories.
Students called for documents verification on a particular day and the same will be announced on CET Website.

College Infrastructure

the college has weel structured academic blocks with multiple clasroom classroom are spacious well ventiled and properly lit most classsroom are equipped with white board blackboards seating arrangemnts are more comfrotable for long lectures some classroom are too morden while other more traditional.

Balanced campus life with decent placements.

College Infrastructure

The college infrastructure is good and provides a comfortable environment for learning. Classrooms are spacious, properly ventilated, and equipped with basic facilities like projectors and boards. The laboratories have the necessary equipment for practical sessions and are maintained reasonably well, though some upgrades would improve the overall experience. The library has a decent collection of academic books and offers a quiet space for study. WiFi is available across the campus but may not always be very fast. The campus is generally clean and organized. Sports and other facilities are available, but they are average. Overall, the infrastructure is satisfactory and supports students effectively.

College Infrastructure

RNS Institute of Technology (RNSIT) has good infrastructure with well-maintained classrooms, equipped laboratories, and a resourceful library. The campus environment is organized and provides a disciplined atmosphere for academic learning. The EEE department has separate labs for core subjects, which help students gain practical exposure. The college also provides basic facilities like seminar halls, computer labs, and a comfortable campus space that supports both academic and technical activities.
