Eligibility Criteria
Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies. Obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together. OR Passed Diploma (in Engineering and Technology) examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) subject to vacancies in the First Year, in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted.
Admission Details
- The Government of Karnataka conducts Common Entrance Test (CET) for admission into various professional courses for students of Karnataka. The CET is generally conducted during April / May and the notification will appear in all leading newspapers. RNSIT is in the list of top most engineering colleges in Karnataka.
- A merit list will be prepared based on the combined performance in PUC/XII Std. and CET.
- Seat matrix is announced indicating seats available in different colleges in different branches based on the sanctioned intake.
- Admissions are made according to merit, subject to reservations to various categories.
- Students called for documents verification on a particular day and the same will be announced on CET Website.

College Infrastructure
College is having the nessasary infrastructure but its not really amazing. Wifi and other basic facilities are only there but nothing extra addon like amazing campus is not there Although they are trying to build new buildings.
I have got a grt life ahead after joining this college

The college infrastructure is well maintained and student-friendly. Classrooms are spacious, clean, and equipped with proper lighting and ventilation. Laboratories are adequately equipped with necessary instruments for practical learning. The library has a good collection of books and a calm study environment. Campus facilities like Wi-Fi, drinking water, restrooms, and seating areas are satisfactory. Overall, the infrastructure supports both academic and extracurricular activities effectively.

College Infrastructure
The college infrastructure is generally impressive and well-maintained. The classrooms are spacious and equipped with modern smart boards, which makes learning interactive. Our laboratories have updated equipment, though the Wi-Fi speed can be a bit inconsistent in certain blocks. The library is a standout feature, providing a quiet environment and a vast collection of resources. Overall, the campus feels modern and provides a great atmosphere for academic growth
