Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Computer Science and Engineering Data Science is a four-year full-time undergraduate Course offered by RNS Institute of Technology, Bangalore recognized by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belagavi.

Eligibility Criteria

Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies. Obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together. OR Passed Diploma (in Engineering and Technology) examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) subject to vacancies in the First Year, in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted.

Admission Details

The Government of Karnataka conducts Common Entrance Test (CET) for admission into various professional courses for students of Karnataka. The CET is generally conducted during April / May and the notification will appear in all leading newspapers. RNSIT is in the list of top most engineering colleges in Karnataka.
A merit list will be prepared based on the combined performance in PUC/XII Std. and CET.
Seat matrix is announced indicating seats available in different colleges in different branches based on the sanctioned intake.
Admissions are made according to merit, subject to reservations to various categories.
Students called for documents verification on a particular day and the same will be announced on CET Website.

College Infrastructure

Rnsit campus is huge,clean and beautifully maintained.The greenery adds a peaceful vibe,feels fresh,spacious and welcoming.Classrooms are spacious ,and labs are well maintained. Rnsit has beautiful,huge library which is very well organized and has wide collection of books and resources.Sports and other events keeps taking place and we get to see lot of tournaments.Smart boards are set in all the classes and there is good wifi connectivity in every buildings.

College Infrastructure

I am currently pursuing my BE in CSE Data Science in RNS Institute of Technology. The college provides a balanced mix of academics and extracurricular activities. Faculty members are knowledgeable and supportive. Regular guest lectures, workshops, hackathons and industrial interactions help students understand real-world applications of what they learn. The campus environment is student-friendly and offers good facilities like library, canteen seminar hall etc. Overall Best college I would suggest - RNSIT⭐

College Infrastructure

RNSIT has an excellent infrastructure with a very beautiful and well-maintained campus. The classrooms are spacious and well-ventilated, and the labs are properly equipped for hands-on learning in various engineering domains, The library offers a quiet study environment with a good collection of books and online resources. Campus Wi-Fi reliable, and the overall facilities--including auditoriums, sports areas, and seating zones, are clean and functional. The college infrastructure supports both academic and extracurricular activities effectively.
