Admission Process 2021
RNS Institute of Technology, Bangalore offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses to the students. Admission to B.Tech is offered by RNSIT Bangalore on the basis of Consortium of Medical Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka(COMEDK) Exam. M.Tech is offered by RNS Institute of Technology, Bangalore on the basis of Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (PGCET) and GATE scores. The details of RNSIT Bangalore is given below:
B.Tech
- Candidates will have to apply and appear for the Consortium of Medical Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) Exam.
- After the scores and rank list has been published, candidates have to participate in a centralised counselling process for choice filling and seat allotment.
- Candidates have to register and apply online on the college website.
- Final admission will be offered to students based on the choice filling, document verification and fee payment during the counselling process.
M.Tech
- Through Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (PGCET)
- Candidates will have to apply and appear for the Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (PGCET).
- GATE scores are also accepted by RNS Institute of Technology, Bangalore.
- Further, candidates who have qualified the entrance exam have to participate in the counselling process for choice filling and seat allotment.
- Final admission will be offered to students based on the merit, choice filling, document verification and fee payment during the counselling process.

- The Government of Karnataka conducts Common Entrance Test (CET) for admission into various professional courses for students of Karnataka. The CET is generally conducted during April / May and the notification will appear in all leading newspapers. RNSIT is in the list of top most engineering colleges in Karnataka.
- A merit list will be prepared based on the combined performance in PUC/XII Std. and CET.
- Seat matrix is announced indicating seats available in different colleges in different branches based on the sanctioned intake.
- Admissions are made according to merit, subject to reservations to various categories.
- Students called for documents verification on a particular day and the same will be announced on CET Website.
