Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Civil Engineering is a four-year full-time undergraduate Course offered by RNS Institute of Technology, Bangalore recognized by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belagavi.

Eligibility Criteria

Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies. Obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together. OR Passed Diploma (in Engineering and Technology) examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) subject to vacancies in the First Year, in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted.

Admission Details

The Government of Karnataka conducts Common Entrance Test (CET) for admission into various professional courses for students of Karnataka. The CET is generally conducted during April / May and the notification will appear in all leading newspapers. RNSIT is in the list of top most engineering colleges in Karnataka.
A merit list will be prepared based on the combined performance in PUC/XII Std. and CET.
Seat matrix is announced indicating seats available in different colleges in different branches based on the sanctioned intake.
Admissions are made according to merit, subject to reservations to various categories.
Students called for documents verification on a particular day and the same will be announced on CET Website.

College Infrastructure

The college infrastructure is well maintained and designed to support both academic and excellence and overall student development. The campus inside and outside is well equipped with basic teaching aids, creating a comfortable learning environment. The campus includes spacious and ventilated classroom 2 huge outside playgrounds and 2 indoor playgrounds and ample amount of parking with individual blocks for each dept.

My overall experience at RNSIT as been good and Satisfied

College Infrastructure

Yes, my College offers a well developed infrastructure that supports both academic and extracurricular activities effectively. Campus is very good with 2 auditorium, 2 sports ground with separate basket ball ground and indoor playing area and also gym is available. All classrooms arranged in a such a way that, it has the projector in each classroom, Wi-Fi facilities in each floors that can be utilized for students and faculties. In my department all labs are well maintained with all required equipment's that needed for our syllabus.

college infrastructure plays an important role in providing a good learning environment for students.a well maintained campus with modern classrooms,laboratories,and libraries helps students learn more effectively. Good infrastructure ususally includes facilities such as computer labs,sports grounds,hostels and a clean cafeteria. These facilities support both academic and extracurricular development.
